This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappels which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. A person with diabetes should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items, foods made from maida, colas, fructose corn syrup containing foods. Also red meat. Should consume more of green vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day). Refrain from alcohol & smoking. Always use whole grain flour for roti and chapati. Plus total caloric intake should be based on ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels. Thanks.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Medicine will depend upon your blood sugar report. Your fasting blood report is normal but your post meal sugar is high. You will require change in medication to control your diabetes. Once your diabetes is brought under control than your erection and ejaculation will improve.

Are there any long-term effects associated with taking ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) medications? If so, what are they and what medications are implicated? What exactly is a spine block injection? Will it work long-term for low back pain due to disc problems? What causes Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and what is the best method of treatment? Can iodine help this condition?

Use of stimulant decreases the symptoms to a much good effect and if we don't give stimulant medication there will be more of conduct disorder and progress in disease and for side effects we have to monitor the person and advice them accordingly and spine block injection is effective for six months and hashimoto's thyroiditis is an auto immune disease where we can control it with medication but not cure it completely.

The most common cause of hypothyroidism is Hashimoto's thyroiditis. "Thyroiditis" is an inflammation of the thyroid gland. Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disorder. With Hashimoto’s, your body produces antibodies that attack and destroy the thyroid gland. Thyroiditis may also be caused by a viral infection. If you feel following symptoms Constipation, Depression,Dry hair and hair loss, Dry skin Fatigue, Greater sensitivity to cold, Slow heart rate Swelling of the thyroid gland (goiter, Unexplained weight gain or difficulty losing weight ,you should take TFT to asses correct value and screen the thyroid level, Homoeopatically we can manage thyroid problems as well as erection dysfunction too. For erection dysfunction you should take some exercise too. So please take an appointment to get prescription and medicine.

YOur pancreas is getting weaker which is the cause of sugar. Can you send me your FBS, 2Hr PPBS & HbA1C to me privatelyDiabetes affects all organs in the body ? Eyes, kidneys, nerves, reproductive system all are affected, In fact, from toe to hair. For diabetic control, patient and doctor should be n constant touch for regular follow up and advice. It is not as easy task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose ? SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS),& HbA1C ( inform me ) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For sugar control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me privately with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance.

Sir,
I am suffering from high blood pressure and sugar.
Please suggest me.
To protect myself.
Perweenji, I am sure you must be on treatment for both these conditions. If yes please give following details : BP reading, Fasting and PP sugar levels, HbA1c%, drugs being taken with dosage, your weight & height, dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. It is better if you come in a private conversation with all those details I will be able to give specific suggestions. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines like : Take a restricted diet that gives exact calories based on ideal body weight, sugar levels and extent of exercise. Exercise daily for 1 hour, brisk walking is a best option. Reduce salt intake to about 2.3 g / day. Consume more of green leafy vegetables and salads. Avoid tobacco in any form and also alcohol.

What are all the reasons for diabetes and how to maintain the sugar level in our body.

What are all the reasons for diabetes and how to maintain the sugar level in our body.
Hye, thanks for the query. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - the sugar levels will fluctuate depending on what you ate or did not eat, stress levels and activity levels. You have to try and manage a balanced carb intake. Have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. You have to eat 3 main and 3 mid meals. Your diet must include whole grains, seasonal fruits, vegetables, small amounts of nuts and dairy and pulses or dals or lean meats like chicken or fish and egg. Starchy vegetables need to be planned into the diet. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Avoid exercise if sugar levels are above 250mg/dl. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.
