Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning and evening. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food and oily food. Take small and frequent meals.

Dr. I am on Hisone and Thyronorm for recuperative period after my Pituitary macro adenoma surgery last Nov. I feel fine but notice weight gain particularly waistline and tummy. Dear lybrate user, as you told you are on hisone during your post surgery phase. This is a steroid drug and can lead to weight gain. Once stopped gradually you will get alright. Keep exercising and follow a diet schedule. Your thyroid should also be normal for loosing weight. Thankyou regards

1.2 km of brisk waking can reduce lot 57 calories. But I would advise you not to count calorie burn and focus on staying fit instead.

According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. You can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rice in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water of rice.

Hello , if you want to lose weight then follow the below:- 1. Take phytolacca berry tablets (wsi), 2 tablets with warm water, three times a day, half an hour before meals. 2. fatoline drops from Haslab, 15 drops + 1/2 cup of warm water, twice a day. 3. Take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. 4.Take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily. 5. Do Surya Namaskar , yoga asans like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand Pose),Vajrasana (Diamond Pose), Pavanamuktasana (Wind-Relieving Pose), Matsyasana (Fish Pose)

Hi this can be done in a few steps: eat less chapatis, less rice, i. E. Less carbohydrates. Take more pulses and pulses products. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid taking creamed milk and milk products. Also avoid eating fried foods, junk foods, canned foods, etc. Must take salad with your every main meal. Drink plenty of water. Take green tea instead of normal tea but not more than twice a day. Walk at least for half an hour after dinner at night. Take exercises daily as it helps in better absorption of food.

HI Lybrate USER… A) Take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice and ginger juice along with 1 tsf of jaggery along with 60 ml of water early in morning on empty stomach and after meals…. B) do regularly BHUJANGASANA, UTTANPADASANA and PAVANMUKTASAN regularly early in the morning on empty stomach for 15 minutes…. Do this for 30 days…it gives you good result…THANKS.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 10.Take 2 tab medohar vati twice daily with water 30 min after meals.

In one study, two groups of overweight mice were put on a restricted-calorie diet, but one also got calcium supplements. The no-calcium mice lost 8 percent of their body fat, compared to 42 percent among the mice that did get calcium. 3. Lean protein. Good sources of protein, such as lean meats, eggs, and beans, help keep your blood sugar stable. The result youll feel full longer and get a boost in energy and that will help you burn more belly fat.

Hi Lybrate User, You have not reduced weight because you may be focussing at the wrong place. FIRSTLY - Weight is not the problem. The real problem are the habits which contribute to your weight. Just like when you get bad marks in Exams... the problem is not Marks... the real problem is lack of studies. You have to understand the issue at hand. You have to aim for fitness. You have to aim for good health. You have to aim for nutritious diet. When your aim is right... your results will be right. Junk food is an addiction... Get rid of friends or your company which is forcing you to ruin your health. If your home food is too rich... take charge and change food habits of everyone at home. Don't let life slip by like this. Extra weight will cause immense problems in your life just like 1. snoring you have mentioned. It is better if you get your complete body checkup done from a lab including Blood Pressure.. Then consult a dietician + join a fitness program. Change your life today.. Be healthy .. be fit.. live happy.

You should go for walk in the morning. Do light exercise in the morning. Take one glass lukewarm water with half spoon methidana powder. Take sprouts, fruits and vegetables. Eat salad before meals. If you are also suffering for high blood pressure and then you have to leave pickle, papad and pouring extra salt. Drink more water in a day. Take small and frequent meals.

Your friend needs to re look at her diet and exercise regime. She also needs to check for thyroid and insulin. Because disruptions in hormones can lead to fat gain. I am mentioning a few highlight to maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Hi, you should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Include more fruits, sprouts and vegetables in your diet. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid late night dinner. Take small and frequent meals.

Diet is 80% no amount of exercise will help if you do not balance your diet. And for toning your lower body weight training with low weights and fast counts will help a lot. Running and cross trainer cardio will be very effective. And you can even try squats and lunges.
