Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland is under active and does not produce sufficient amounts of thyroid hormones required in the body. The most cause of hypothyroidism is Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is an auto immune disorder in which the antibodies are produced by the immune system against its own tissue, which in turn attacks the thyroid gland resulting in hypothyroidism.Severe Iodine defficiency can also lead to hypothyroidism . Natural Homeopathic remedies for hypothyroidism are highly effective and especially useful for people who want to avoid the side effects of prescription drugs. Top Homeopathic Remedies for Hypothyroidism Calcarea carb , Sepia ,Lycopodium, Graphites and Nux Vomica are the leading homeopathic remedies for hypothyroidism The normal range of TSH levels is 0.4 to 4.0 milli-international units per liter. due thyroid irregular period may occurs .for it you can take..tab. ovral-L X 21 DAYS..WAIT FOR 7 DAYS AND START AGAIN FROM 6 TH DAY OF MENSES..TILL 3 CYCLE OF MENSES.. SYP. AMYCORDIAL 15 ML TDS AFTER MEAL..REGULAR FOR 3 CYCLE OF MENSES.Lifestyle changes. Some women have changes in their period because they exercise too much. Reducing the frequency and intensity of your workouts may help your period return to normal. Stress leads to many body changes, including irregular periods. Relaxation techniques and counseling may be helpful. Extreme changes in your weight can affect your periods. Weight gain can interfere with the body's ability to ovulate, which controls your menstrual cycle. Losing weight may help resolve irregular periods. Extreme sudden weight loss can also lead to infrequent or irregular periods. Hormone therapy (HT). An irregular menstrual cycle is often due to a lack or imbalance of certain hormones in the body. Birth control pills (oral contraceptives) often containing the hormones estrogen and progesterone are commonly prescribed to help control irregular periods. A hormone medication called progestin can also help trigger periods in women who do not get them. Other hormone treatments may be prescribed to women with irregular periods who are having difficulty getting pregnant. Surgery. Sometimes, scarring or structural problems in the uterus (womb) or fallopian tubes may lead to irregular periods. Surgery may be done to correct any structural problems or birth defects, particularly in women who want to have children. It may also be done to remove severe scar tissue (adhesions) in the reproductive tract.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. You will have to continue to take that medication. Plus avoid food containing high amount of purines like red meat, organ meat, certain fishes like scallop, herring, salmon, mushrooms, mussels, shell fish etc. There is no complete cure for this condition. Thanks.

lybrate-user, TSH values vary or increase if the dosage of thyroxine being taken is not adequate. Please tell what is the current dosage and also recent or latest TSH value, When in good control TSH should be maintained between 3 to 4 mU/L. In that situation all the symptoms are in excellent control. Thanks.
