I'm suffering from cold and fever for 2 days or whole body pain. Now what should I do.

Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/milk). Avoid fatty foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment: A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily. take tablet dolo-650 mg once or twice daily for fever

I have tremendous high back pain, in lower back. There is no finding in mri and xrays, now I have found the problem, that my hamstring mussules are very tight, is ther any medicine for the hamstring mussules releasing. Can I clear this problem by accupuncture treatment or else. Kindly suggest.

I suppose your mri is done at a good center. the other cause can be due to inadequate warm up and lack of knee strengthening excercises

I have cold and sneeze as well as I have body pain and it happen so easily to me, could you please give me a solution?

1. If you have recurrent attack of sneezing, you may be having sinusitis or allergic rhinitis 2. Take x ray/ct scan of pns to confirm sinusitis and consult ent specialist for advice and treatment 3 if sinusitis is excluded, then it is due to allergic rhinitis, 4. Do an allergy test after consulting allergy specialist/immunologist to find out the cause of allergy and follow the treatment and advice accordingly.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

Hi it is possible to prevent neuropathy in your feet. Here are some tips to help you live a healthy lifestyle and prevent damage to the nerves in your feet: +rule out diabetes, vitamin b12 +eat plenty of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and lean protein. +exercise regularly. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption. +be aware if you are sitting or standing in a cramped position; move around or shift often. +avoid repetitive motions; if possible, change your routines. For example, swim one day and run the next. +discuss new diets and exercise programs with your doctor first. Best wishes.

I have a back problem I used lots of medicines but I did not feel relelifee what I should.

Back problems could be bacause of a lot of reasons, bad posture, muscle weakness, heavy weight lifting, trauma or accident. You should go to an orthopaedic surgeon and ascertain the cause first. If medicines are not giving you any relief may be you have weak back muscles for which you should learn some exercises and do them daily. Visit a physiotherapist and get your back assessed. Also maintain a good posture. Avoid sitting for a long time, take small breaks, get up and walk, do exercises for back, avoid heavy weight lifting.

Hi, I am suffering from few problems. 1) high pain on the last point of back bone. 2) due to cold I drank lots of lemon tea but from last night m frequently going for pee (in 15 minutes. And m also feeling irritation in urine very High. Please suggest me what to do?

This might be because of urine infection which will be common in women and hence once you go for complete urine exam and urine culture if possible to know the organism causing the problem and hence this needs to be treated with medicines. You can use antibiotics which are sensitive to the organism or else you can also you homeo medicines, if you need any good homeo medicines then write back to me in detail.

I got a back pain during my workout in gym. Last week. It pains hard what to do to cure it quickly.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Knee pain is one of the most common and painful ailments that can limit mobility. Injuries can result in cartilage or meniscal tears or sprains too. Obesity is another reason because of which knee pain is on the rise. Also, regular wear and tear of ligaments and tendons around the knees due to old age is another cause. These days, with reduced physical activities and sedentary lifestyles, the rate at which knees are wearing out has also become accelerated. Whatever the reason, a correct diagnosis followed by prompt treatment can help. Over the years, physiotherapy has been playing an important role in treating knee injuries. Whether to supplement the various drugs to reduce pain and inflammation or to avoid surgery, physiotherapy has helped many and its popularity is growing every day. Here are some ways that physiotherapy can help reduce pain.

  • Improve flexibility of tendons: The knee cap is an area where there are lot of tendons and ligaments, coordinating to enable movement. Careful exercising can ensure that the flexibility of tendons and ligaments is improved, thereby making your knee movement easier and less painful.
  • Improves blood supply: As we all know, proper movement requires good blood supply. Exercising with special focus on the knee ensures that blood supply is improved, and thereby the supporting ligaments and tendons function optimally.
  • Enhances the knee cap function: The knee cap is that portion which joins your thigh bone to your calf bones. This is prone to slip out of place, especially with arthritis and injuries. This can be painful and limit movement to a great degree. Focused exercises aimed at improving knee cap function will ensure that the knee cap has a wider range of function, and does not slip out of its socket easily.
  • Reduce rigidity: Once you start physiotherapy, you will feel your knees getting more flexible. The rigidity that had set in as a result of injuries and/or old age will also reduce over a period of time.
  • Slow down the wear and tear: When you start physiotherapy after knee damage, continuing the exercise routine, of course with expert guidance, can reduce the pace at which further damage might happen. A word of caution though. Be sure to consult an experienced physiotherapist before you begin. Exercising in a bad manner can do equal or more harm than the original injury or old age itself.

We generally notice a slouch when the person is working on the computer, doing a desk job, or watching tv. If it still persists, get a vitamin d 3 levels checked.
