Hello, as per your description, seems to be alopecia areata. Alopecia areata is a type of hair loss that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, which is where hair growth begins. Alopecia areata usually begins when clumps of hair fall out, resulting in totally smooth, round hairless patches on the scalp. In some cases the hair may become thinner without noticeable patches of baldness, or it may grow and break off, leaving short stubs (called" exclamation point" hair). In rare cases, complete loss of scalp hair and body hair occurs. The hair loss often comes and goes-hair will grow back over several months in one area but will fall out in another area. Medication: take homoeopathic medication which is safe to take and you will start getting the results within few days to few months - acid fluor. 200 to be taken twice a day daily for 1 month. Revert back for further guidance. D home remedies: -lavender - an essential oil, since it is so powerful, should be diluted into a base oil before being applied, such as almond or coconut oil. Other essential oils, including peppermint, sage, and rosemary oils can also be used on the scalp to stimulate blood flow to the scalp, thereby causing hair follicles to hear or even begin growing hair again. -one of the healthiest ways to reduce the effects of alopecia areata is to eat as much vitamin c as possible, which is found in citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables. -onion juice, which can be applied directly on the scalp. The high sulfur content helps to stimulate circulation and new growth, while the antiseptic quality of onions kills scalp-born infections or microbes that might contribute to the hair loss conditions.

Diabetes, hypertension are very much related to your food choices and to control it you need to bring changes in your food choices. Keep check on your food intake, include good fat in your diet so to control cholesterol level in blood. Moreover enough of calcium in your diet such as a glass of skimmed milk to prevent body & back aches.

One our cousin use to take food during break fast or lunch or dinner. Even though after taking food he use to take any other items like snacks or savouries etc etc Always he use to eat. We will stop eating after the stomach is full he is not like that. Pl. Suggest me what to do?

Dear Lybrateuser, -At your age you should avoid taking supplements, instead consume a healthy balanced diet consisting of all major food groups as the vitamins & minerals are better absorbed from food rather than supplements -have more of fruits (2-3 per day), vegetables (4-5 servings), consume different variety, reduce refined carbs, fried & junk foods, you will also reduce your weight this way & maintain it in future.

Whey protein is taken post workout. It already has important amino acids like glutamine which is very helpful. It should be had within 40 minutes of your workout to prevent wear and tear of muscles. Since this window is called the protein window. BCAA are specific 3 amino acids. Whey is complete in itself.

Reasons can be-* cold weather *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days for further treatment, consult privately (prime-rs. 149/).

Daily use is not good (depends on which drug yu are usng) whereas you can take Lactulose syrup and eat high fiber diet.

You need to increase your calorie intake by increasing your carbohydrates & protein intake. You can have parathas, cheese sandwiches in your breakfast. Increase 1 chapati more in your lunch & dinner. Add rice in your lunch. Include vegetables, dal, salad ,curd in your daily meals. You can have milkshakes, cookies fruits in between your meals. Add sweetdish. Eat every 2-3 hours.

For increasing weight u first have to work on ur digestive system...If u have strong digestive system u will able to increase ur weight easily... Take baidyanath chitrakadi vati 2 tab twice daily for a week.....+ 1tsf triphala churna daily..., take small meals 4-5 times a day..eat healthy n light food ...drink plenty of water...walk 1km daily in evening...follow up after a week.

To get a healthy body do regular exercise like yoga, swimming, skipping, push ups, sit ups etc. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods, sugar, sweetened juice. Eat more whole fruits, vegetables. Take yogurt, dates. Eat protein rich foods like fish like tuna, egg, cottage cheese, lean meat, peanut, soy products etc. Use good fats like fish oil, olive oil, refined vegetable oil, flax seed, pumpkin seed, almond, walnut etc. Eta whole wheat, whole grain, oats bran, brown bread, brown rice etc, drink lots of water. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Proper rest and stress free life.

Dear Lybrate User, Increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is WHEY protein. But kindly remember only taking supplement is not enough. You need to take those supplements according to a fixed schedule. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight

FOrjoint pain the best treatment course would be to undergo vasti at a panchakarma centre near u. After undergoing vasti, you shall be completely treated. If need the doc might prescribe you some ayurvedic medicines depending on your body type. Till then you can have drumstick soup daily. Also boil 2 pieces of garlic in 1 cup milk & 1 cup water. When 1 cup remains, strain & drink daily after adding 1 tsf cow ghee.
