Anything to worry about? my doc has prescribed febuget 80 for a month+hosit plus (mecobalamin, alpha lipoic acid, folic acid & pyridoxine, hydrochrolide) for a month + bontas 60k (cholecalciferol soft gelatin capsules) for 8 weeks (1 per week). A high uric acid level can be caused when your body either produces too much uric acid or your kidneys don't eliminate uric acid rapidly enough. A high uric acid level may cause increasingly frequent attacks of gout, or it may never cause problems. A high uric acid level may also cause some people to develop kidney stones or kidney failure. And some people with a high uric acid level also develop high blood pressure, heart disease or chronic kidney disease, but it's often unclear whether this is a direct cause or merely an early warning sign of these conditions. Factors that may cause a high uric acid level in your blood include: Diuretic medications (water pills),Drinking too much alcohol,Genetics (inherited tendencies),hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid),Immune-suppressing drugs,Niacin, or vitamin B-3, obesity, psoriasis, Purine-rich diet — organ meat, game meat, anchovies, herring, gravy, dried beans, driedpeas, mushrooms and other foods Renal insufficiency — inability of the kidneys to filter waste Tumor lysis syndrome — a rapid release of cells into the blood caused by certain cancers or by chemotherapy for those cancers,Also, you may be monitored for high uric acid levels when undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer. Avoid protein diets, avoid more milk products. bad habits , fast food/fat/oily,salty foods. Coffee, smoking, alcohol intake. Non-veg., take whole grain, oats, green veg.,plenty of water in day time, 1 glass of water at night before bed. Take tab. Zyloric 100 mg once a day. Tab. Ulracet sos for pain in joints.

Please follow anti tubercular treatment as scheduled. But all of anti tb medicines are toxic to liver specially r cinex, therefore need to do liver function tests every month or earlier if some changes like loss of appetite / jaundice symptoms felt. We advise liver toxic food like fats & other heavy medicines known to be toxic to liver and kidneys. Atovas is used to lower cholesterol but fats are not given to patients on treatment for tb, emphasis is on high carbs & more simple proteins. There is no need to give this medicine which is toxic to liver. He is being given ace inhibitor to bring down bp-this medicine can lead to cough confusing symptoms of tb. Change to safer beta blockers after consulting with your doctors. Regarding medicines to dissolve blockages, our system has not much to offer for old blockages, be careful about interactions with ayurvedic medicines also. I can suggest simple things which may help dissolve blockages & help the liver also. Juice of pomegranate, spoon of honey + juice of a lemon in warm water on empty stomach, apple cider vinegar plus honey. Avoid all fats except good fats like a spoon of pure ghee only plus a katori of assorted nuts to get much needed protein plus good fats. He must be on bed rest, get some physiotherapic advice to improve the blood circulation otherwise get massage done on entire body. If person is not eating bad fats, the levels of lipids remain within limits and there is no need for medicines to lower cholesterol. Give him high protein diet like simple things like toned milk, curd, chhachh, boiled eggs, clear fat free soups of vegetables and pulses. Get back here for more guidance with latest reports of liver function tests, cbc & total lipid profile. Good luck. Continue giving multivitamin in the list of medicines above.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert.
