Hello, Few lifestyle changes can help you in controlling and preventing the high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe’s Essentia Aurea/ thrice daily which is a cardio-tonic which helps in maintaining blood pressure, improves muscle tone of the heart and narrowing of blood vessels.

Continuous Chest pain with sweating is a classical symptom of heart attack and you should never ignore it Specially if you have any two of these cardiac risk factors. Age above 45, diabetes hypertension obesity high cholesterol family history of heart attacks or past  history of heart attack or history of smoking or chewing tobacco.  Most important things is not to waste time remember - continues chest pain or even pain in left arm, upper abdomen or neck can be heart attack which means the blood supply to your heart is blocked and a part of heart is dying and with every minute of continuous pain the damage  increases. More pain = more damage.  Get urgent medical attention, get an ECG, ECHO and Cardiac enzymes done.

Addition of L-lysine to iron supplementation resulted in a significant increase in serum ferritin concentration in some women with chronic hair loss (telogen effluvium) who failed to respond to iron supplementation alone.Other than anemia, low ferritin may also indicate hypothyroidism, vitamin C deficient Chronic intestinal bleeding in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) may exceed the amount of iron that can be absorbed from the diet, resulting in a negative iron balance . So also have to check thyroid levels and take all vitamins along with iron

Dear Lybrate user, Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. These feelings may cause physical symptoms, such as a racing heart and shakiness. There are a number of anxiety disorders: including generalized anxiety disorder, a specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, and panic disorder among others. While each has its own characteristics and symptoms, they all include symptoms of anxiety. Anxiety medicines alone cannot cure anxiety disorders mainly because medicines do not alter behavior. Behavior change and Continuous practice of the changed behavior cure anxiety. I suggest anxiety education, progressive counseling and progressive psychotherapy. I assure you complete cure. I need to know more about your anxiety so that I will be able to diagnose it properly and provide you tips to overcome and manage your anxiety. Take care.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user. Your triglyceride level is very high. It means you have been taking food which is very rich in saturated fat. High triglyceride levels may lead to atherosclerosis of arteries which in turn may lead to blockage of arteries. I would advise you to follow a very strict diet and avoid eating oily and greasy food. Also you will be required to take medicine for reducing the triglyceride level. If you want a prescription for that you can message me or consult your physician.

Fever and BP are not related. Initially for fever Bed rest, plenty of oral fluids and Paracetamol Tablets 500 mg 3 times in a day for 2-3 days may be tried. If no relief see your doctor. Subsequently BP record for 3-4 times with some duration in between may have to be recorded. The readings will have to be evaluated by your doctor for further management if any. It will be important to know whether she had higher BP during pregnancy

Hypertension and diabetes are all lifestyle diseases which require lifestyle solution and not a chemical cocktail of medicines. I can get rid of all your bp medications in a short time if you follow my instructions. It just involves dietary changes and lifestyle changes aand I can even reverse the bp the lifestyle changes you are doing is only partly correct and not specific for treating hypertension if you do not do the correct changes which your Dr. is not going to tell you is because he does not know nutrition which is never taught in medical schools. Either Take a consult or send a feed back to this reply with your name and contact number and then I can talk to you and then you can take a consult through Lybrate Remember you cannot fix your health without fixing your diet. You are what you eat and what you eat eats.
