Prevent Serious Heart Diseases - Checkups To Be Considered!

Prevent Serious Heart Diseases - Checkups To Be Considered!

Heart diseases are very common nowadays and can affect individuals of any age. Heart diseases can be fatal and even result in death if the affected person is not diagnosed at the right time. So, it becomes really important for every person to undergo a full body health checkup every year to analyse if his/her heart, liver, kidney, etc. are working properly.

So, here are some tests which can be conducted to prevent any serious heart related problems.

  • Lipid Tests - Lipid tests are conducted to check if there are any kind of risks related to the lipids of a person's body. Lipid tests help to screen different problems related to cholesterol levels and triglycerides which are responsible for different cardiovascular problems. It can also help to detect any kind of genetic disorder which results in cardiovascular diseases that may affect the heart in a serious way.
  • Cardiac Risk Marker Profile Test: The cardiac risk marker profile test is known as a group of health tests that are required to be performed to ascertain if someone has a chance of suffering from cardiovascular diseases like heart attack or heart stroke.

  • Echocardiogram - This is an ultrasound test of heart which checks whether there is any problem with the heart valves and blood chambers. Through this process, the doctor will be also able to understand how strongly the heart is pumping blood to your body. It is conducted with the help of probe on the chest or can also be inserted through the oesophagus.

  • Electrocardiogram - This is a very common test, which a person with a weak heart can undergo. Small sticky dots and wires are attached to the person's chest, arms and legs which enables the doctor to check if there are any abnormalities in or around your heart.
  • Stress Echocardiogram - Significant stress levels can also be harmful to your heart. In this test, a radioactive substance is inserted into the bloodstream and in return, it echoes back an ultrasound which helps to detect how strongly the heart is beating or if there is any blockage in the valves.

So these are the few cardiovascular tests which can be conducted to prevent a serious heart disease.

Chest Pain!

Please give yourself valuable 2min and read this:-

(1)let’s say it’s 8.15 pm and you’re going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.

(2)you’re really tired, upset and frustrated.

(3)suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home.

(4)unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far.

(5)you have been trained in cpr, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.

(6)how to survive a heart attack when alone?
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.

(7)however, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

(8)deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating.

You are having anxiety. And sometimes there r panic attacks. Its good that you undergo tests to rule out cardiac problem. R you under stress. your condition is complicated by gastralgia. You should do the following-- 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. 3. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 4. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 5. Maintain active life style 6. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods 7.Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. It contains a lot of fiber which will help reduce tendency for constipation 8. Drink lot of water. 9. Take half cup of cold milk when you feel acidity, it will help. Curd is good for u. Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, Swimming, gymming, walking etc. This is for long term results But for now to bring your digestive system back on track you need to take medicines. What alternatives used for salt?
For sugar I found honey.
Type of oil has nothing to do with BP. There is no alternative for salt. You should take low salt diet. Honey is no alternative to sugar. If you are diabetic yould not take sugar, honey, jaggery (gur) in any form.

Forget about defeating something. If your BP is consistently high then it needs to be accepted as a fact and proper measures can be taken to reduce it. Get the right perspective by reading about BP (and it's physiology ). Sometimes, the BP shoot up due to anticipation (it does happen in few people) and comes to normalcy after sometime (when the mind is relaxed ). Please go for regular health check up and talk to the doctor who can also check the vitals and advise some basic tests. You always have the scope to improve your health by adapting healthy lifestyle. You can also learn Yoga / pranayam and meditation which can help you to relax and enjoy life as it is. Also read from the internet about salt restricted diet and natural ways to stay healthy. You can revert later with all the details for further clarification.

So far tests are coming clear. I went to the doctor again and was diagnosed with fibro cystic breast disease according to the doctor I am having these chest pains more on left side because I have fibro cystic effect more on left side and less on right side. Is this the cause of pain or is there something serious? I had my chest x ray 6 months ago.

Leg PainIf you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain. Pain in the back while walking and standing Pain in the right legIf you have leg pain please check your body weight and your hemoglobin levels, as Anemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. My suggestion would be to wear MCR Chapels which will help you to prevent the weight falling on the If you have back pain while walking and standing first of all check your weight and your hemoglobin levels, as Anemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. My suggestion would be to wear MCR Chapels which will help you to prevent the weight falling on the back. And also should check whether you have flat foot on the right leg that also might be the reason to have pain in one particular leg Pain in the left side of the leg/thighThe compression of the sciatic nerve should be around the right side that's the reason you have pain in the left side. That's the reason you cannot sit or stand and it is exactly around the L5 vertebrae where the sciatic nerve passes by.

Hi, What are the symptoms of high blood pressure? How to avoid or treatment for bp high. Please suggest me.
Hi, Lybrate user, Hypertension being  a silent killer, usually shows no symptom but if you feel dizziness, Headache with facial flushing & feeling unwell ,you should go alert. You need to follow certain natural norms to lower down your BP apart from medication. Go for a walk in the morning to regulate blood circulation to combat your BP. Go for meditation to reduce stress in order to nourish your body conditioning the heart and to regularise your  digestive system, aswell. Tk, plenty of water ro hydrate your body. Your diet be easily digestible on time to avoid gastric disorder that triggers BP & raised heart rate. TK, low fats fluid milk (calcium, Beet juice, Hibiscus tea, Pomegranate juice (angiotensit II), Cranberry juice (anti inflamation & antioxidant ). All sorts of anti hypertensive medication be monitored. Avoid, junkfood, alcohol ,Nicotine and moving out in scorching Sun. You can take homoeopathic medicine, being gentle,  rapid & safe in administration. Tk,  care.
