Hi lybrate-userto reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake. And also do surya namaskar.

Hello lybrate-user, weight loss is the result of a holistic approach that includes- 1. Balanced diet rich in proteins and fibre like- egg, chicken, fish, milk, curd, paneer, sprouts, oats, wholegrain cereals and pulses, fruits and vegetables (fibre) 2. Exercise- doing 40-50 minutes of moderate to high intensity activity for 4-5 days/ week will help (walking/jogging/swimming etc) 3. Adding good quality fat like nuts and oilseeds-almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds (alsi) will help. 4. Rest for 7-8 hours to rejuvenate your system so it can work efficiently. 5. Water- having about 1 glass water every hour will help in flushing toxins from your system. You can continue green tea or warm water but have it 30 mins before meal to cut down your appetite.

A) Take 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 30 ml of triphala juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water, at night before sleep. B) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice and 10ml of honey before meals. C) eat 10 gms of black cumin seeds and 10 gm of jaggary along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals. D) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini vati after meals ……do all these things for 30 days…it gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions…. THANKS…

Hi lybrate-user, Belly and arm fat are among the most difficult types of fat to lose. Set realistic goals. It is possible to lose some belly and arm fat, but you may not lose all that you want. Some people are just genetically inclined to retain fat in those areas of the body. A disciplined diet and exercise program will help you reduce fat in those areas, but it will take some time and a lot of work. The more ambitious your goals, the more time and effort that is required. Exercise regularly. The only way to lose fat is to increase your activity to speed up your metabolism. Do whatever you want as long as it gets you moving. Go for a walk, play tennis or ride your bike. Get your heart rate up for at least an hour and break a sweat. Increase your exercise as your body adapts. Lift weights. Resistance exercises are very important for losing belly and arm fat. Strong muscles burn a lot of calories and help melt away fat. It is important to point out that lifting weights with your arms and doing stomach crunches will not make you lose fat in those areas. It is not possible to spot reduce fat. However, strong muscles created by weight lifting will increase your metabolism and burn more calories. You should therefore lift weights for all parts of your body. Also, by toning your arms and building muscle, it is possible to improve their appearance without actually losing fat there. Get plenty of sleep. You body has a harder time losing fat when you get less than eight hours sleep. Snooze and lose the pounds.

reduced LDL is a good sign ,so is increased HDL. only controlling cholesterol is not responsible for prevention of heart attacks. do take care of other factors like stress , smoking.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it. *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

You do not need to do crash dieting to stay healthy. Exercise daily, have small frequent meals consisting of more vegetables & fruits, limit sugar & fat intake, avoid junk/ processed/ready to eat/ outside foods Sample diet chart BF- Suji/ dalia Upma + low fat lassi/ milk MM- whole fruit + green tea L- salad + Roti/ rice + nutrella+ vegetables + curd SN- walnuts + sprouts + coconut water DN- salad + roti + vegetables + curd

Mr. Lybrate-user as you know long term sitting can leads to weight gain mostly, bulky abdomen. So you have to do some movement in between work. Avoid instant sitting after taking meal. Do some little walk after every one hr, its not necessary that you have to go outside, it can be done around your working desk. Take luke warm water/green tea twice a day. Avoid habit of munching in between meal. If you are taking sweet every day, take it before meal, it will make you feel satisfied and by that you will consume less food. Do brisk walk and exercise. Avoid junk food, rice, bread, bakery products etc. Take aloe-vera and amla juice daily twice a day. There are number of medicine available in ayurveda which are helpful in weight reduction without any side effects. Consult for proper medication.

U will have to make some changes in your daily regimen. Do asanas and exercises. Rope skipping and abdominal exercises have good result in obesity.

Hi. First check your hemoglobin levels. Low levels can lead to fatigue. Instead of heavy meals have small frequent meals. Have at least 2 - 3 litres of liquids including water, buttermilk, nimboo pani, coconut water. You may also be deficient in protein, certain vitamins and minerals that's why your stamina seems to be low. Try and have well balanced meals every 2 to 3 hours. Increase your intake of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and have protein rich sources in diet like milk and milk products, pulses and dal, egg chicken fish if you are non vegetarian. Reduce intake of junk food.

Hello, To your height and weight parameters provided you seem to be under normal category. However,weight and height relation is better determined by frame size,body type etc so the above conclusion can be generic. It is always better to keep your ideal body weight 2-3 kgs less than the normal standards.

Exercise and nutrition work hand in hand for weight loss. One doesn't work without the other. Just eat mindfully, control portion size, avoid junk food. Eat some nuts like almonds, pistachios, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds as 4pm snacks to avoid the unnecessary junk at around 6 pm. Have early dinner. Like at about 7.30pm. Indulge in some sports or walk at least 3times a week and you will be good to go. This will ensure permanant fat loss over a period of 6 months

Hi, Skiping the food at interval is not good alongwith eating junkfood ,bakery products daily .So if you want to reduce weight stop eating junkfood.If thats possible then there will be effective weight loss. Take Tab Phytolacca berry(Dr Wilmar Shawbe.German) 2tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth Eat Oats daily as it contains high fiber and helps in reducing fats effectively. Hi Crunches, Twist Crunches, Side Crunch, Reverse Crunches, Vertical Leg Crunch, Bicycle Exercise, Lunge Twist, Rolling Plank are best exercises to reduce weight. Regimens 1. Old sali rice, Samvaka, Kodrava, Bajara, Maze (makka), Barley, Green gram (mudga), Kulattha, Pigeon pea (arhara ),Chick pea (chana), Brinjal, Parvala, Drum stick (shigru), Butter milk, Cardamom, Amalaki, Mustard oil, Luke warm water, Food substance with pungent, bitter and astringent taste should be recommended. 2. Freshly harvested sali rice, Wheat, Black gram (udada), Potato, Milk, Curd, Meet, Fish, Clarified butter, Jaggery and intake of water after meal should not be allowed. Useful single formulations in Ayurveda for Obesity 1. Suddha Silajatu (Black Bitumen) 500 mg twice a day with hot water. 2. Vijaysar Kwath (Terminalia tomentosa) 20 ml twice a day with honey. 3. Juice of 2 lemon + 4 tsf honey mixed with 1 glass of water. This drink should be taken in the morning for 50 days. There are so many medicines in Ayurveda to solve your problems. Hi, please follow these tips to stop snoring: - reduce your weight if you are obese. - perform pranayama (breathing exercises) everyday. - quit smoking which irritates the mucosal layer of the nose and throat and causes blockage and results in snoring. - quit alcohol and sedatives which relax the throat muscles and results in snoring. - sleep on sides instead on back. - elevate the head by using a thick pillow which eases the breathing. - clear the nose before going to bed. - establish regular sleep pattern. - keep the bedroom air moist by using humidifier; as dry air irritates the mucosal membrane in thenose and throat. - perform throat exercises like repeating the vowels a, e, i, o, you loudly for 2-3 mins few times a day or keeping the tongue behind the teeth and moving it backwards - 3-4 times a day. - anti snoring appliances can also be used. To reduce weight, perform yoga or do some physical exercises or go to a gym and work out. Avoid high caloried food like sweets, oil fried food, carbohydrate rich food. Take rotis or ragi balls and plenty of raw or cooked vegetables and fruits.
