How to make our shoulder joints stronger
To protect it from continuous shoulder dislocation.
Hello lybrate joints, strong shoulder joints meaning more muscular ones do not safeguard one from dislocations. If you have got history of shoulder dislocation and that too the first episode before 20 years old ther is a chance that you may have recurrent shoulder dislocation. In that scenario kindly get your radiological assessment in the form of mri of the concerned shoulder. God bless you.

I am having pain in my knees and I can not walk long distances. Can you tell me some medicines?
Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

The sudden movements and jerking motions required by basketball often result in strains that cause lower back pain. Low-impact aerobic methods often help prevent or relieve lower back pain by building strength and endurance in your back, which enhances muscle function. Aerobic exercise also helps Over-the-counter pain medicine with ibuprofen or acetaminophen often provides relief from minor back pain within a few weeks. Some cases of back pain normalize after an injection of cortisone, or anti-inflammatory medicine. Surgery is an option when your pain is severe and accompanies leg pain or muscle weakness that worsens over time.

Back of knee pain, also known as posterior knee pain can stem from a wide variety of causes, not all of which involve damage to the knee joint. Degenerative joint disease, namely the various forms of arthritis, can directly and indirectly contribute to pain behind the knee. One of the more common causes of pain in the back of the knee joint, specifically, is a popliteal synovial cyst, which is also known as a baker’s cyst. Often, these cysts go away without any treatment. But if that is not the case, the first course of treatment would usually involve addressing the underlying condition. Conservative treatment methods for relieving this behind the knee pain may involve using ice, compression, crutches and engaging in physical therapy. It is important to get the advice of a professional before getting started on a mode of treatment. Please see a nearby orthopaedic or Physiotherapist for the assessment and management of your knee pain.

1.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 2.Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. 3.Increase the consumption of vitamin C in diet. 4.Take fresh Ginger into pieces, place in the cup of water and boil it for 30 minutes in low flame. Cool for 30 minutes after boiling. Consume this solution with Honey. 5.While sleeping, lie straight on your back or with bent knees supported by a pillow. 6.Taking hot and cold compresses on an alternate basis can be quite helpful in relieving pain. 7.
