Dear lybrate-user, Your back pain could be because of improper sleeping posture at night. Give hot water fomentation twice daily and that should solve your problem. Should the pain still persists meet a Physiotherapist who would assess you and teach you exercises. Wishing you good health and a speedy recovery.

Sugar is normal BP is 100 by 170 ECG is normal Swelling of legs from knee to toe with large pain Please help me me.

-always elevate your leg during sitting position. -avoid long standing/walking -during sleeping keep pillow under the foot. -apply hot water (3 minutes), normal water (1 minute) at painful area, always start & stop with hot water& apply three times a day for 15 to 30 minutes - do ankle pump exercise 2 times a day (10 repeatation)

U should take an mri of knee. Take rest. If mri reveals any issue you will require a local (knee) treatment.

Back Pain . Advice…. Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily Bhujang Asana x 15 timesx twice daily Core Strengthening Exercises. Back Stretching.

Hi it is due to muscle weakness. Your muscles are not able to hold joint at right position. Learn strengthening exercise by physiotherapist. Best wishes.

Hai ! I am 50 yrs old (male) and suffering with both knee pains for the last 10 years , I have approached orthopedician and also taken X-rays of both knees , finally, they told me that, my both knees cortilege is getting lost and suggested to go for knee replacement surgery till unable to walk. So, i need your suggestions in this regards sir.

Yes i agreed with doctor.But for three month we can treat this condition with. 1) Cap. Cadalmin GIA.2cap bid for three month 2) 9E5 health drink 1 sachets bid anti stomach 3) isometrics exercise for knee

I recently got lumbar herniated disc problem & as per doctor's advice took bed rest for 3 days and did not play or go to gym for 10 days. After 10 days can I go back to gym or play badminton or should I continue taking rest. Currently I am not experiencing any pain and I am avoiding bending forward.

Sir you have to take rest for some more period .if you have disc problem you have to give proper support .while going for play you have to where a lumbar belt.

My age is 33 yrs. I am experiencing pain in right shoulder blade. The pain is not spreading to other places. I noticed when I sit for too long I get this pain. Could you please suggest what precausions to take or any medicine.

Hi thanks for your query. If you have only localized shoulder pain, then you have to rule out any injury as a cause for it. There are many causes of shoulder pain but we have to look out for a cause as treatment is dependent on it. If there is no swelling/fever etc, then I think intensive physical therapy with a short course of anti-inflammatory medications can be tried, if it does not improve in next 2-3 weeks, then we will have to evaluate to find out a cause and treat accordingly. Pain during menstruation is called as dysmenorrhoea. If you r suffering from this since long time and if it is not controlled by meftal spas and if you have to stay at home during menses because of pain, then you should get sonography done to find out the cause. It could be ovarian cyst or endometriosis also.

Hi, after immobilization it take at least 6 month or more to recover, so don't worry about this, yaa you can take a help of physiotherapist they will teach you how to do your daily activities, so don't worry about it and take care.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.
