Few HIV Myths Busted

Few HIV Myths busted.

Q. HIV is a death sentence.
A. Successful treatment of the virus can mean a long, normal life span. It’s key for people living with HIV to have access to quality care and start antiretroviral treatment immediately. Access to Proper health care means extended life span so no it’s certainly not a death sentence.
·Q. Stick to your treatment and take good care of your body. This can help you live a long life with HIV.
A. True
·Q.HIV cannot be transmitted during oral sex.
A. Hiv can be transmitted  during oral sex. HIV can be passed on through sex when infected sexual fluids or blood enter the bloodstream of an HIV negative person. During oral sex this could potentially happen if the mouth, gums and/or throat of the person giving oral sex has cuts and sores or is inflamed or infected.
Q. Is it advisable to use condoms when engaging in oral sex when you have any cuts or sore?
A.Ideally one should not participate in sex when one has open cuts or sores as a condom doesn’t cover them all it covers is your private part. Having said that a Polyurethane condoms should be used for any sexual activity as they are better at protecting from sexually transmitted infections.
Q. Hugging, handshakes, sharing toilet seats and mosquito bites does not transmit HIV.
A. True
·Q. If you are having unprotected sex or you are sharing your needles or injection
A. False
Q. equipments (tattoos, injection drugs, diabetic), you are putting yourself at a risk of HIV.
A. True
·Q.Straight People Do Not Get HIV.
A. False
Q. HIV is transmitted by the sperm which means an infected man can produce an HIV positive baby.
 A. The risk of a baby having HIV is only directly related to the HIV status of the mother, not the father. So if your partner is also HIV positive, this is how you can have an HIV negative baby.
Q. When a baby is conceived it is HIV-negative in the womb. The baby normally gets infected at the time of birth when the baby’s body fluids and the mother’s blood mix. The baby can only be infected if the mother has a sexually transmitted disease.
A. If a woman is infected with HIV, her risk of transmitting the virus to her baby is reduced if she stays as healthy as possible. According to the March of Dimes, new treatments can reduce the risk of a treated mother passing HIV to her baby to a 2 percent or less.

Start aphrodisiac medicines of ayurveda to gain a healthy ejaculation time permanently. Don't go for Viagra and all as they are not safe and also produce only a symptomatic effect. Do daily exercise45 minutes. Eat high protein diet. Avoid Alcohol, Smoking and fast food. Don't use any physical techniques to enlarge the penis size. It may become harmful. You can apply some ayurvedic oil under doctor supervision. If you want to know more or any medicinal treatment then contact me. Have a nice day.

Dear lybrate user. Semen seeping through penis after urination or while having sexual thoughts or while with an attractive girl or woman or while waking up in the morning etc is common and it is not a problem at all. This is a natural body procedure whereby your body tries to evacuate the stored semen. Semen is produced within your body whenever you are sexually (even slightly) excited and is stored within your body. Now this stored semen is a waste product that your body wants to throw out. This is a natural process and you don't have any control over it. I also assure you that this is never unhealthy. Take care.

Hello- You are suffering from infected smegma. Smegma is a secretion of the oil glands around the genitals. For men, smegma often appears under the foreskin of the penis. The best way to treat smegma is to wash your genitalia. Following these instructions can help you eliminate any smegma buildup. If you’re uncircumcised, gently pull back the foreskin. -Use mild soap and warm water to wash beneath the foreskin. Avoid using perfumed or highly-scented soaps. These products may irritate the sensitive skin. -Rinse the penis thoroughly, and dry well. -For men, pull the foreskin back over the tip of the penis. Be careful to not irritate your penis by using sharp devices or products like cotton swabs to clean the head of your penis.

Erectile Dysfunction and Oligospermia - How Ayurveda Can Help You?

Erectile Dysfunction and Oligospermia - How Ayurveda Can Help You?

Quite like women, men may also suffer from different types of infertility, one of which is erectile dysfunction and eventually leads to oligospermia. It is a condition in which the affected individual loses the ability to take part in sexual activities. Oligospermia is caused due to low sperm count in the males, which doesn’t let the ovum of their female partner to fertilize.

Causes of oligospermia
Normally, excessive stress, smoking and consumption of alcohol are regarded as the major causes of erectile dysfunction and oligospermia. But it can also be triggered by varicocele condition, which is an enlargement of veins in the scrotum. Hormonal imbalance, harmful radiations like radiotherapy and chemotherapy as well as administering certain drugs and medications are some other causes leading to oligospermia.

Symptoms of oligospermia
If a man is not able to maintain his erection while performing sexual activities, then it is considered that he is suffering from erectile dysfunction. However, oligospermia doesn’t have any sign or symptom; the affected person gets to know about it when his partner is not able to conceive.

Diagnosis of oligospermia
The diagnosis of oligospermia is dependent on the low count of semen analysis that has to be performed twice randomly. Recently, WHO has established a reference point for the optimum level of sperm count, which is 15 million sperms for every milliliter of semen. It is crucial to mention here that the concentration of sperms may fluctuate and there can be permanent and temporary forms of oligospermia.

Ayurvedic treatment of oligospermia
Ayurveda is considered as the science of life and is regarded as a holistic as well as comprehensive medical system. This system utilizes the inherent principles of nature for helping a person maintain good health by keeping the body, mind and soul in perfect coalesce with nature.

  1. Ayurveda has presented a distinct branch that deals with defective semen and spermatogenesis along with sexual potency. Such medications are called Vajikaranatantra or aphrodisiac medicines. This therapy is recommended for all males between the ages 16 to 70 to maintain healthy semen and overall sexual activity.
  2. In Ayurveda, the treatment of oligospermia comprises administering the Vajikaradravyas and rasayanas in optimum amount. These therapies are quite helpful in detoxifying and rejuvenating the body. Additionally, with little modifications in lifestyle and diet, you can not only experience sexual pleasure, but also be able to produce physically and mentally healthy offspring.
