Myself suffering form osteo arthritis joint pain in my both knee and swelling advise me proper allopathy medicine.
Try: 1. Regular knee quadriceps exercises (static and knee bending). 2. Ice pack application will help 3.Medications like Cartigen DN, Identical K2 and Enzomac forte will help. Do not depend on pain killers, use ice pack instead to control pain. Intrarticular injections also offer great relief in selected cases.

Knee pain As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason the knee goes for genu recurvatum which is nothing but backward bowing of legs. This can be prevented by wearing knee brace to support the knee from going backwards while you walk or climb stairs. Check with your haemoglobin levels and also with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician. Simple Knee ExerciesSpecific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. I am experiencing pain below knees only one side either left or right but it lasts only few hours. At that time I don't feel to walk anymore. I walk daily at least 2 kms. May I know what my problem will be?

Due to vata dosha effect the pain often reoccurs. Avoid excess walk, heavy weight lift, long standing, cross leg sitting. Moderate oil massage with Balaswagandha lakshadi taila everyday strengthens muscle and relive the pain.

Knee Ligament laxity if you have problem in your legs then it might be due to ligament laxity where your legs would become very weak due to the old ligament injury and that should be treated immediately. Wear knee cap so that you will feel firm while walking or climbing stairs. This is a general strain and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try! One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain. You have to do knee strengthening exercises, ie. Knee rehabilitation exercises which will strengthen your knee. Exercises will give you permanent cure than the surgery. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal.

Hello lybrate-user, I hope you know minimal about this disease. As this disease cause cartilage degeneration of your joints. In some cases it get improves after medicines and in some patients not. Other possible management to alleviate the pain in your case can be - 1.Slight weight reduction. Don't do strenuous exercise but slight food habits change as it put less pressure on your joints. 2. Avoid strenuous work if you are doing. 3Arthrocentesis - In this procedure we inject corticosteroid it can help relieve in pain, inflammation as well as swelling. 4. You can use knee braces. 5.One more thing more according to recent study exercise usually does not aggravate osteoarthritis when performed at levels that do not cause joint pain. Exercise is helpful for relief of symptoms of osteoarthritis in several ways, including strengthening the muscular support around the joints. It also prevents the joints from freezing up and improves and maintains joint mobility. Finally, it helps with weight reduction and promotes endurance. Applying local heat before and cold packs after exercise can help relieve pain and inflammation. 6. Swimming is particularly well suited for patients with osteoarthritis because it allows patients to exercise with minimal impact stress to the joints. Other popular exercises include walking, stationary cycling and light weight training.
