It may be due to osteoarthritis called sandhigat vata in Ayurveda. Kindly do x-ray of it for diagnosis. You have to avoid potatoes, dal, sprouts in food. You can apply Murivenna oil at knee at morning and evening. You can take Luke warm water for it.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Whey protein is generally safe & does not have side effects if taken in appropriate dose - higher doses can cause side effects like increased bowel movements, thirst, cramps, weakness, tiredness, bloating, nausea & loss of appetite - consumption will depend on your other sources of protein intake, level of activity & the protein content of the brand per gram of powder, normal protein requirement of the body per day is about 1gm/ kg of body weight.

  • Plantar Fasciitis is a disorder that results in pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. The pain is usually most severe with the first steps of the day or following a period of rest. The condition typically comes on slowly. In about a third of people both legs are affected. 
  • Risk factors for plantar fasciitis include overuse such as from long periods of standing, an increase in exercise, and obesity. It is also associated with inward rolling of the foot and a lifestyle that involves little exercise. While heel spurs are frequently found it is unclear if they have a role in causing the condition. Plantar fasciitis is a disorder of the insertion site of the ligament on the bone characterized by micro tears, breakdown of collagen, and scarring. The diagnosis is typically based on signs and symptoms with ultrasound sometimes used to help. Other conditions with similar symptoms include osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, heel pad syndrome, and reactive arthritis.

Avoid fatty, junk,bakery foods. Avoid bread and maida foods. Drink warm water often. Take hot gruels processed with ginger and pepper. Eat different kind of fruits everyday. Practice yoga and pranayama which increase your appetite. Tab chitraka vati 1-0-1 before meals for 10 days. Madiphala rasayana 1tsp twice before meals.

Hello Lybrate users Thanks for the queries. You may gain your weight if you will follow the diet match with your body requirements and activity. For Weight gain need to manage whole day schedule. Hi ,to increase your weight: 1. Add fruits and aanwla to your diet to increase vit c which will increase your appetite 2. Rice and potatoes increase weight but recommended for short term only 3. Take some multivitamin 4. Keep walking in morning as regular exercise AND 1.Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. 2.Eat egg, 3.Drink milk. 4.Try weight gainer shakes. 5.Use bigger plates. 6.Add cream to your food. 7.Take almonds 5-10 daily 8.Get quality sleep. 9.VIDEO consultation with us for whey protein and mass gainers.

To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy and natural food + daily exercise. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. Eat 20 almonds & 5 dates daily. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, banana shakes etc. If your are Non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. For Veg - have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. No need for any extra supplements. Natural diet is best. Go for 30 mins walks / exercise / yoga daily. Feel confident about yourself. All the best!

Your app has given you wrong data. Your BMR is about 1545 cals. Your daily cal needs based on average - sedentary lifestyle is about 1900- 2000 calories. Currently you are overweight by about 5-8 Kgs. Hence to reduce weight you should be taking in reduced calories by about 300-500. That means your daily intake of calories should be about 1500-1600 if you want to lose weight. But if you want to maintain weight you should be taking 1900-2000 cals. If you take 2789, you will put on weight by about 2-3 kgs per month. Rough distribution of nutrients would be 50% carbs, 20% fats and 30% protiens.

I guess your body's resting energy is very high that is why your body is burning all that you eat, without adding to your weight. Try eating something every 2-3 hours to avoid long periods of fasting. Eat proteins rich food to gain muscle mass. For customised diet, take consultation separately.

To gain weight one must eat a balanced diet. Do not skip any meals and eat small and frequent meal. Include wheat germ and take protein rich diet include milk and milk product, all pulses, take a cup of milk with pinch of turmeric powder, you will get proper sleep or you can take 1 banana with a cup of milk. You should do deep breathing thrice in a day.

Weight gain requires increase in calorie intake. Calories can be increased by increasing the calorie intake. Calories can be increased by consuming more food than what you are already taking. Exercise spends calories or burns calories. Exercising increases the appetite also. Thus, I would suggest you to exercise and preferably join a gym and work out under the guidance of an instructor. At the same time, nutritious balanced diet has to be taken. The protein content should be high and carbohydrates and fats should be limited. Fluids in the form of water, soups, juices should be included in the diet. Protein are building blocks of the body and are required for repair and regeneration. Thus, protein content id diet should be high.

Hi, Its better to drink green tea on empty stomach, may be 30 minutes before breakfast. And in the evening around 4-5 p.m. When your stomach will be empty again after a long gap of meal. If you want a snack, eat it after 30 minutes of green tea consumption in evening.

Just go for thyroid test first and do revert back with reports You can make your body fit by proper diet and exercise as well. To build your stamina, don’t just rely on physical activity, you also need to watch what you eat. Include a well-balanced diet by adding low-fat products, plenty of fruits and vegetables 1. Just do Warm up for ten to fifteen minutes of easy running. 2. Mix it up. Run for two minutes at high intensity and then jog slowly for two-minutes, thirty-seconds. Run at top speed for 30 seconds and then jog for 45 seconds. Mix up your intervals at random. 3.Cool down for fifteen to twenty-five minutes. 4. All types of outdoor sports are best to overcome fatigue and boost your stamina level; this is because it is a form of aerobic exercise. Sports like football, basketball and all other sprinting games will help strengthen your heart 5. Include cardiovascular exercises like running, swimming, jumping etc. 6. Be hydrated 7. Take proper 7-8 hours of sleep DIET TO INCREASE STAMINA- Peanut butter is also excellent for building stamina. It is high in calories and digests slowly.
