What are the best home remedies for warts?

  1. Banana Mash:

    Bananas contain a proteolytic enzyme that eats away at the wart. Just peel the banana and apply the mashed fruit in the area affected by the wart. Follow this procedure twice a day. Repeat this process daily until the wart is gone.

  2. Lemon:

    Vitamin C is known to kill the virus that causes the wart. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and its acidic content is very helpful in curing wart. Apply lemon juice over the affected area twice a day regularly. Also, increase the intake of lemon or orange.

  3. Dandelions:

    Dandelions is a very useful herb which is used in the treatment of a wide range of skin problems. Just crush and apply it over the wart and wrap it with a bandage. Do this twice a day until you get rid of your wart.

  4. Potato:

    Rub a round slice of potato over the wart three times a day for as long as possible. This is a very old method that is used to get rid of warts.

  5. Garlic:

    Garlic contains a compound called allicin which possesses antimicrobial properties. Garlic helps to destroy the enzymes of the virus and inhibit their growth. You can apply 1 clove of garlic after mixing it with water.

  6. Apple cider vinegar:

    Apple Cider vinegar possesses antimicrobial properties. Dilute Apple cider vinegar helps to fight against the wart infection which is caused due to the virus. You can directly apply apple cider vinegar after mixing it with water in the ratio of 2:1 respectively.

  7. Orange peel:

    As per the studies conducted by researchers orange peel is found to cure warts. It helps to fight against the virus infection.

  8. Aloe vera:

    Aloe vera is found to have antiviral properties. Aloe vera helps to inhibit the growth of viruses. You can directly apply the aloe vera gel to the skin.

  9. Baking powder:

    Baking powder along with vinegar or castor oil helps to destroy the viruses causing warts. You can apply baking soda by making a paste of baking soda and vinegar or castor oil.
