What are the home remedies for removing dark circles?

    Potatoes have natural bleaching properties and it can lighten up dark circles. They can also be beneficial in removing the puffiness around the eyes. To use this, chill out potatoes for an hour in the refrigerator. Later cut them into thin slices, and apply it on your ice. Alternatively, you can make a juice and dip a cotton bud in it and apply it around your eyes for about 15 minutes. This is one of the effective ways to remove dark circles.

  3. Green Tea Bags:

    Green tea is rich in antioxidants and they can be effective in lightening up dark circles. Boil two green tea bags in a cup of water for about 10 minutes. Remove them and let it cool in a refrigerator for half an hour. Now take them out and put the cold tea bags on your eyes for about 15 minutes. Use this method regularly for the best results and to get rid of dark circles.

  4. Rosewater:

    Rosewater helps in rejuvenating the skin. It tones the skin and helps to reduce the dark circle. You can directly apply rose water under your eyes with the help of a cotton ball.

  5. Turmeric mask:

    Turmeric possesses antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to remove dark circles. You can directly apply turmeric under your eyes after making a paste. Rinse it after 10 minutes.

  6. Orange juice:

    Orange juice is a rich source of Vitamin A and C. It helps to reduce dark circles. You can directly apply orange juice under your eyes by mixing it with glycerine. You can use a cotton pad for applying It.

  7. Cold compress:

    Cold compress helps to lighten the dark circles, you can make a cold compress by keeping the mask which you use in the fridge. Once it is cold you can apply to the affected area. Practice it twice a day for the best result.

  8. Coconut oil:

    Coconut oil contains fatty acid that deeply moisturizes the skin and helps to reduce dark circles and thin lines under your eyes. Apply coconut oil under your eyes and leave it overnight.

  9. Proper sleep:

    Adequate amount of sleep is one of the most effective home remedies to prevent dark circles. You need to take at least 8 hours of sleep daily to prevent dark circles from forming.

  10. Drink water:

    Water helps to flush out the free radical formed in the body. Drink sufficient amounts of water to prevent free radicals from accumulating under your eyes or anywhere. Try to drink 8-9 glasses of water.
