  2. Turmeric:

    Turmeric too has antibacterial and antiviral properties that can help in treating whooping cough. It even has a therapeutic effect on coughs and is better if taken at night before sleep. To make this, mix together a tablespoon of raw honey and half a teaspoon of fresh turmeric powder.

    Intake it twice a day. Alternatively, you can mix it with a glass of warm milk and drink it twice a day to ease the symptoms.

  3. Garlic:

    Garlic is a natural antibiotic to fight whooping cough. It has enough antibacterial and antiviral properties to make it an effective fighting agent against whooping cough. To use it, take a teaspoon of fresh garlic juice twice a day for about a week.

    You can even inhale the vapors. Boil some garlic in water and cover your head with a blanket or towel and inhale the effects for immediate relief.

  4. Apple cider vinegar:

    Apple cider Vinegar has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that help to fight against the infection and provide relief from nasal congestion.

  5. Stay hydrated:

    Drinking an adequate amount of water helps to flush out the foreign germs out from the body. Staying hydrated includes basic home remedies for nasal blockage.

  6. Basil leaves:

    Basil leaves which are commonly known as tulsi fight against blocked nose infection. You can take raw basil leaves or in tea form.

  7. Fenugreek:

    Fenugreek which is commonly known as methi helps in making the mucous thin and clearing out the nasal congestion.

  8. Black pepper:

    Hot spices like Black pepper helps In clearing out the nasal blockage. Black pepper also provides relief from the pain caused due to blockage.

  9. Hot Soups and Tea:

    As per the studies done by the researchers it has been found that drinking hot tea or any hot beverages is quite effective in reducing the nose blockage symptoms. Hot tea possesses anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties which help to fight against any allergic reaction.

  10. Lemon or Tomato juice:

    Eat as many citrus fruits as you can. Increase the intake of lemon, tomato, and other such food. It’ll increase the level of vitamin C. It’ll also help reduce phlegm when you are suffering from a nasal blockage.
