I am 22 years old, female, and I have a painful scalp. Each time I move my hair my scalp hurts and there is hair fall too. I tried steaming and it subsided. But came once again after a few days. I am not sure if steaming had the effect or it was due to something else. Please advise.

Causes of Neck Lumps

We have often noticed outgrowth around the neck in a lot of people. The neck lumps are of varying sizes. While some may be unduly large in size, others range from being moderate to miniscule.  Usually, neck lumps do not bode any cancerous development and are benign in most cases. However, certain specific types of neck lumps can often bode serious health impairments. A lot of the neck lumps are painless and do not cause any discomfort to the patient. However, these lumps must not go unattended in either case. Especially if they are cancerous, a speedy detection is expedient to arrest any further damage. The neck lumps stem from a lot reasons.

Some of the most common causes are enlisted below:

  1. Swollen Lymph nodes:  Lymph nodes are spread all over your body. They are often susceptible to infections caused by germ attacks. Infection causing bacteria or viruses often result in the enlargement or swelling in the lymph nodes. This manifests itself as neck lumps, albeit sometimes. This could also arise out of allergic reactions to certain foreign substances. 
  2. Cancer: While a neck lump may not necessarily mean a sign of cancer, some lumps could occur due to tumor formations, which unfortunately indicate a malignant growth. Radioscopy and biopsy are the usual techniques through which the malignancy of the tumors can be detected.
  3. Thyroid Disease: Some neck lumps occur due to an inflammation in the thyroid glands. On account of certain hormonal imbalances, hyroid glands may swell up leading to neck lumps.
  4. Mumps: Mumps is a contagious disease that is caused by a viral infection in the respiratory tract. As a consequence, the salivary glands may swell up causing neck lumps. Mumps are very common in children.
  5. Tumour in the salivary glands:  Another common cause of neck lumps are tumours in the salivary glands. On account of a variety of external as well as internal reasons, there may be an abnormal growth in our salivary glands. This leads to lumps in the neck.

The earliest signs of neck lumps should goad you to consult a doctor. While it may not be of alarming nature, to avert any major ailment, it is worthwhile to be cautious beforehand.

Dear please apply the size of pea tooth paste on your brush, which should be pushed into the bristles. Never ever wet the brush and there should be least foam in the mouth.

Belly is the store room for excess body fat. When your food consumption is more than your needs. It will get stored as fat in different parts of body. From cheeks to legs but max amount goes to body. Store room. Sleeping has got nothing to do with fat storage or belly fat. Sleep is a separate body process. To maintain your weight. Eat light. Eat natural. In addition. Do intensive Exercise daily for 1-2 hours. This will ensure. That you will remain fit and fine.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy

Symptoms of typhoid are - high fever, headache, belly pain, weakness, vomiting and loose stools. As u have fever for more than 1 month, get ur cbc, ESR, xray chest and widal test done. Take crocin 500mg if fever. Consult with reports .

उपवास(fasting) उपवास का मुख्य उद्देश्य आँतों (पेट) को आराम देना एवं रसना (जिव्हा) संयम के साथ-साथ आध्यात्मिक उन्नति करना है। आत्मिक लाभ के साथ ही उपवास से शारीरिक लाभ मिलते हैं। उपवास करने से आँतों को पूर्ण आराम मिलता है। निराहार रहने से शरीर में जमा वसा (ग्लाइकोजन) एवं स्टार्च का पाचन हो जाता है, जिससे मोटापा नहीं बढ़ता। उपवास करने से शरीर में उत्पन्न होने वाले टॉक्सिन, पेशाब एवं पसीने के रूप में बाहर निकल जाते हैं। इस प्रकार उपवास के कई लाभ हैं। परंतु उपवास के नाम पर फरियाली, खिचड़ी, चिप्स आदि दिनभर खाते रहने से लाभ के बजाय हानि ही होती है। वहीं यदि उपवास सही तरीके से नहीं छोड़ा जाए तो भी शारीरिक नुकसान हो सकता है। उपवास के एक दिन पूर्व शाम से ही गरिष्ठ भोजन त्याग देना चाहिए। उपवास के दिन फल-दूध का आहार लेना चाहिए। उपवास के समय अधिक मात्रा में जल का सेवन करना चाहिए। साथ ही सुबह एवं शाम को पैदल घूमना चाहिए जिससे विजातीय पदार्थ पसीने एवं मूत्र के रूप में बाहर निकल जाते हैं। अधिक कमजोरी होने पर नीबू पानी ले सकते हैं। इससे आँतों की सफाई अच्छी तरह से हो जाती है। उपवास के दिन कठिन परिश्रम के बजाय साधारण तरीके से दिन बिताना चाहिए। इस दिन ध्यान इत्यादि करना चाहिए। खाना खाकर उपवास नहीं तोड़ना चाहिए क्योंकि आँतों पर विश्राम के बाद लोड पड़ने से लाभ के बजाय हानि हो सकती है (या पेटदर्द हो सकता है)। उपवास फलों के रस या सूप से खोलना चाहिए। दोपहर को दलिया या चावल की खिचड़ी खाना चाहिए एवं शाम को सादा भोजन (मूँग की दाल व रोटी) करना चाहिए। उपवास यदि ज्यादा दिनों (पाँच, सात दिनों) का हो तो उपवास खोलने के लिए पहले दिन फलों का रस, दूसरे दिन मूँग की दाल का पानी, तीसरे दिन दलिया इस प्रकार से आहार लेना चाहिए। उपवास शारीरिक क्षमता एवं स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखकर करना चाहिए। शरीर को अत्यधिक कष्ट देकर उपवास करना हानिकारक हो सकता है। डायबिटीज के रोगी को उपवास नहीं करना चाहिए।
