Hi, it depends on the protein you take. If you take a plant based protein it does not add cholesterol to the body and hence the purpose is served. An animal based protein has been studied to have long term side effects.

Hello! only a qualified expert can help to solve any of our problem without any complication. And medication or pills or supplement for weight gain is not at all a good solution for any one. One might lose or gain weight for that particular period but once you stop supplement many complication can take place. So I must advice go for small n frequent healthy meals with some activity. You can take good quality protein in your diet. Like- milk n products, egg, chicken, dal & products. N visit a dietitian. It will help. The 1st thing you need to take care of is good quality protein, complex carbohydrate n good quality fat. N what you are taking before n after work out is also matter. So my suggestion will be take a dietitian's advice for your diet plan and visit a doctor too.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

Hi you are in stage 2 (moderate systolic) hypertension despite of medications your bp is on higher side and needs agressive treatment to prevent any cardiac risk in future aten 25 mg is a non cardioselective beta blocker I would like to shift you on higher doses of cardioselective beta blockers like carvedilol ,metoprolol as stamlo caused you ankle edema I would like to start you on s - variant of amoldipine (does not cause ankle edema, I can not write the name of medicines on public forum our aim should be to keep sytolic bp less then 130 mm of hg feel free to contact tx.

I have thyroid for last one month. I have put on more weight and my neck, underarms are getting dark in color now. I have low confidence now as I look fatty. I have even controlled my diet and started doing exercises. But still I look similar.

You have mentioned that only a month back treatment for hypothyroidism has been started. Then you need to wait for a period of at least 4 to six weeks for tsh levels to come to normal. On treatment tsh should revert to 3 to 4 milli units for control of all symptoms, plus efforts to reduce weight to show any result. If tsh levels remain high then diet and exercise will not benefit.

Your weight is normal but not in shap. Do arobic excersices, yoga, walking. Pachimotanasana end sarvangasan will help to reduce belly (learn from guru do not try salf)

The difference is sr means sustained release, where the drug metformin is released over 12 hrs at a constant rate and the drug action is prolonged. Normal tablet releases the drug in about an hour or so, action lasts for lesser time. Sr tablets also produce lesser gastro intestinal side effects.

Approximately 3-4 kgs one can reduce. But it varies individual to individual you can start with any physically activity like running ,morning walk for 30-40 minutes. Take barley water 1-2 glass ,any one fruit like Orange ,Apple, Guava etc. You can eat oats+milk, brown bread toast in your breakfast. Take green leafy vegetable, sprouts,seasonal fruits etc. Take butter milk. Take green tea two time during the day like one cup evening time and one cup after dinner. These thing you can avoid like junk and spicy food, rice,potato, sugar,alcohol, smoking,etc. Water intake properly.

Reduce starchy carbs. Eat a full, balanced breakfast. Limit sugar consumption. Rotate your carbs. Drink coffee (black) before working out. Avoid drastic calorie reductions. Eat 5-6 meals a day. Take cla. Increase vegetable consumption. Don't over-rely on fat burners. Consume 25-35 grams of fiber a day.

Deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving ' THYROXINE ' tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid iron medicines. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work.go walk daily.avoid oily foods,junk foods. Do Tests T3,T4,TSH EVERY 3 TO 6 MONTHS. Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement can help, High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Weight gain is muscle gain and not fat gain. In your condition your energy requirement is very high so whatever you eat is used as a source of energy and you do not make muscle. To gain muscles you will have to eat at least 6 meals (high calorie) in a day at a regular interval with a proper ratio of proteins and carbohydrates. Proteins will help you gain body mass while carbohydrates will help you give energy. Protein foods are eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products, meat and dals. Carbohydrate foods are roti and rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes. You have to eat vegetables and fruits and use healthy and good fats for cooking like ghee, cold pressed mustrad or til oil. You will also have to do some weight training exercise to help you build mass into the body. Also drink enough water to keep you hydrated.

There are two possibilities: if you are waking up nervous and restless, then the influences of dreams and the unconscious mind’s persuasions could be the cause; and if you get up and then feel this experience, then it is possible that the fear of facing the day, even if there was nothing to worry about, could be the culprit. In both these instances survival level fear and some insecurity could be behind the experience. Death could then be an escape from facing these major fears. Sunlight is fortunately an equalizer by the effect of light itself on the human being as an amazingly stimulating power, and as you move around getting into your chores, the energy levels spike and the biorhythm (which has three areas of influence: climbing energy levels, mood levels and metabolic rate) rises up to peak at 11 am. By this time I guess the fear subsides, primarily by the influence of daylight and sunlight. If all this I say is true, even remotely, meet with a counselor and explore the survival level fear and deal with it effectively. You should be well free of this disturbance. The morning effect is to be seen as a revelation from your system to draw your attention towards something really important that needs consideration.
