Hip Joint problem of my wife: Full History of present complaints: At age of around 1 year: Old case of congenital dislocation of the hip, treated at that time with plaster. My wife Suffered from Left side Hip-dislocation when she was 1 year old. No surgical operation was done. The Hip-bone was put on the socket (by hand, by the doctor) and plastered for around 3 months. And then it was OK. After that, she did not have any problem till 2009 (at 37 years of age). In 2009: Since 2009, suffering from pain on left Hip-joint. Pain aggravated on standing for long periods. (By profession, she is a Faculty and has to do teaching standing). Pain also interferes with walking distance. Before that, she used to walk and run without any problem. Details of investigations done so far: X-rays taken. X-ray of PBH-AP and (L) hip lateral- Joint space reduction in the superior aspect of the hip joint. Sclerosis of the bone in the acetabular area (superior aspect). Diagnosis: Femoral Acetabular impingement secondary to old congenital dislocation of hip. QUESTION to the DOCTORS (Allopathic or Ayurvedic): Can my wife be treated and cured without surgery? Is there treatment available in Ayurveda? How many days of treatment required and where?

If there is no other problem, try to modulate her diet. Increase protein an roughage in her diet. She should take less of fat and carbohydrates. Give her more of vegetables except potato, and salad. Pulses should also form important ingredient of her diet.

There is no medicine for weight loss. These are all myths which float in conversations, and people believe them because it seems easy and convenient. This belief is exactly like the student who does not study and somehow hopes that just before the exam he will be able to get the question paper a night before. Today Internet is filled with such 'miracle medicines' which is nothing but false/fake promises. There is no medicine for weight loss either in Homeo / Allopathy/ Siddha or any form of medicine. ## The only way to reduce weight is to 1. Stop searching for such magic cures. 2. Simplify diet. 3. Cut down all oils/sugars/salt/junk/juices from your diet. 4. Daily energise your body with exercise. 5. Aim for permanent long term solutions. This will help you stay healthy and fit and happy.

A level of 20 nanograms/milliliter to 50 ng/mL is considered adequate for healthy people. A level less than 12 ng/mL indicates vitamin D deficiency. Don't worry, you are fine. Just take d boost sachet every week 4 times.
