I have a German Spitz of 2 years 3 months, he suffered from jaundice some days back he if fine now but i am still worried because doctor recommended 3 injections but he did not take the last injections .Will it show problem later in his health

MVSC
Veterinarian, Hyderabad
Check if the injection is an antibiotic you should not miss the third dose I suggest. It is happened so leave it, need not worry too much. As your dog suffered with jaundice previously give Liv-up syrup to help recovery from the jaundice. Give liquid diet along with your regular diet to destress the liver.

Take him to veterinary doctor. Could be some kind of poisoning wh8ch cannot be controlled by Medicines for loose motions and vomitting. Take him to an animal doctor. ASAP.

My dog, Jay, is a German Shepherd and he is three months old. He is skinny and he weighs nearly 8.5 kg. Is this the appropriate weight or should he be weighing more? if so what should be done?

You can try gemon food from itally a premium food with 31 percent protien and 21 percent fat and 4300 k cal / kg of food you get when digested and the 20 kg cost you only 6500 very cheap and good in results.

What can I do if my dogs fever is too high? Will benadryl help lower a fever? And I am not feeling well when I ate some oil pieces.

And I am not feeling well when I ate so...
Benadryl will not help lowering temp. You should take your pet to vet, because high fever is because of different reason like heat stroke, tick fever, infection etc.

My rabbit which is 4 months old is getting hiccups and is not frequent. Is that any serious issue to be taken care? What can we do when it gets hiccups? What causes hiccups for rabbits?

MVSc, BVSc
Veterinarian, Secunderabad
If rabbit tries to drink water in a hurry it may get hiccups. Getting hiccups is not a major issue if occasional. Do not worry.

Due to her kidney problems, seems her heart is suffering a bit. Toxins r slowly raising to the brain. You have to get your dog to your nearby vet Dr. For daily blood tests and iv fluid therapies with proper antibiotics if any sign of infection is confirmed by the blood reports.

My pup is 1 year old. let me know the vaccination schedule for him. He is a pug . Also let me know deworming schedule too.

M.V.Sc, B.V.Sc. & A.H.
Veterinarian, Kolkata
What we are doing in kolkata -- fecal sample examination routinely to get an idea about the worms present within body/ intestine and selection of dewormers inaccordance with. For vaccination, it's best to have a prior health check up for fitness and high end immune status so that after innoculation antibody could be produced at desired level. Schedule we are following at par indian standard, a qualified vet will guide you as per your pet's requirement, individual dog differs with its schedule. Rabies, an endemic disease in india at different parts, needs no excuse to execute while planning for immunization against it. Consult further with your dog's previous records of immunizations and deworming. Thanks.

These's been a lot of hair loss in my dog I have been using petglow tonic from a couple of days but there's no improvement.

Master of sciences, B.V.Sc. & A.H.
Veterinarian, Salem
Please continue with any tonic which contain omega 3 and 6 oil at least for a month and see for the results they all can't produce results in hours. Sir need to wait./// as the damage caused took so much time to disintegrate the skin and you need same or twice time to repair it.
