Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).Twice a week...Drink plenty of fluids daily...do exercise daily...eat healthy protein and calcium rich food

My right hand is paining very much since one week please help me so that I can get well quickly.
Pain in the arm can result from a number of factors. Abnormalities or injury of the skin, nerves, bones, joints, blood vessels, and soft tissues of the arm can all result in pain. Arm pain may be the result of referred pain from another part of the body. Please go to a physiotherapist to assess and treat the underlying condition. If pain is caused by an activity, modify or stop the activity. Rest the arm and resume activity gradually. Monitor the response to the activity. Pain experienced in the right arm is usually not serious, but when it is coupled with other symptoms like pain in the leg or tightness of the chest, it may be more serious. Try some home remedies: ice will reduce pain and swelling. Apply ice or cold packs immediately to prevent or minimize swelling. Apply the ice or cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes, 3 or more times a day. Elevate the painful area on pillows while applying ice and anytime you are sitting or lying down. Try to keep the area at or above the level of your heart to help minimize swelling. Apply heat and begin gentle exercise with the aid of moist heat to help restore and maintain flexibility. Some experts recommend alternating between heat and cold treatments. Gently massage or rub the area to relieve pain and encourage blood flow. Do not massage the area if it causes pain. Do not smoke or use other tobacco products. Smoking slows healing because it decreases blood supply and delays tissue repair. Best wishes.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Firstly you should go to physicisn to rule out whether it is a bone disease, disc disease or radiculopathy. Depending on that you will visit a n orthopaedician or neurologist.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine.medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -A physiotherapist can tell you when to begin stretching and strengthening exercises and how to do them.

Dr. On and off I am getting back problems. In jan I had back spasam problem in right side and took some injections and it was ok. Then the problem came in the right side hib cured after injection and physiotherpy. Now from day right side paining a lot. I donot have any sugar or no bp but cholestral is there. My near by Dr. Says obesity is the problem and I am 5.3 and weighing 98 kgs. I donot want to take physiotherapy or any power killer tablets. Kindly advise what to do. Pain is acute.

Backache is the commonest ailment. Do not worry, rule out vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you must loose some weight weight reduction can not be done over night. You have to take it as a way of life. Do diet control. No sugar in tea, coffee, milk etc. No sweets take small frequent feeds. When you get used to it, skip one meal. You should do non weight bearing yoga exercises. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

It's your choice. Treatment for recurrent shoulder dislocation is surgery. No other choice. With every dislocation, head of humerus and glenoid go on worsening. Avoid those activities which cause pain till then.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Do not ignore the knee joint pain for longer time. It may damage your knee joints. So do x-ray (AP & Lateral) standing and visit near by orthopaedic doctor. Without clinical examination treatment can not be proceed so its better to visit the doctor.

You have some problem in your wrist Carpal tunnel syndrome need some analgesic pills, hot and cold water immersion 4: 1 min f (hot 4 min: cold 1 min) repeat 5 -6 times. Cont for 10 - 15 days.

You have weakness of back muscles. Calcium and vitamin d deficiency. You need to strengthen your back. Posture modification is required. Changes in study posture. How do you study? you need some exercises and some medicines.

Dear user, it happens nothing to worry, avoid prolonged standing or sitting. Apply heat fermentation with any pain relief ointment to reduce pain. Lying flat on bed put rolled towel under your knee and press it x20 times twice a day for 10 days. I suggest you to consult in person with physiotherapist for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.
