I am 23 years old female from last year I am having uti first I was diagnosed with klebsiella dn with e.coli dn this years now with staphylococcus epidermidis. After the doctors checkup I am feeling discomfort and burning sensation in vulva urethra and vagina and lil pain while urinating level like something is stuck in there. I have had oral sex with my bf 1 years back 5 times only saliva applied on clitoris. My vulva seems dry and little uncomfortable to walk or sit. What could it be? Please help me.

Dear Shradha Don't worry You will be alright.For chronic Uti you have to take treatment for long time. Take following Chandra prabha vati 2tabs morning and evening twice. Vrukka dosha hara vati 2tabs morning and evening(prasangalu. Baba Ramdev) Chandanasava. 20 ml with equal quantity of water after meals twice a day. Review after 2months.

I am Dr. Bela, a homeopathic practitioner, practicing for the last 30 years. Today we will talk about obesity the burning issue of, of the whole country these days. We see a lot of youngsters as well as old age, everyone is now suffering from obesity which is just a lifestyle symptoms. It is not really a disease so per say. What are the, why does this obesity occur? It could be some lifestyle disease, for example PCOS, menopause or thyroid or may be just an inactive lifestyle. Then how do we tackle obesity? The best way to tackle obesity would be a diet and exercise routine and by diet I don’t mean a real diet “diet” but one would go in for high nutrition and low calorie food, for example salads and fruits and anything that our grandparents will call food, right. Not those packaged products. Also we will cut of the aerated drinks and focus more on things like narial pani and lemu pani which are again the good calories retake besides the nuts and things like that and avoid the kind of excessive oil and definitely the white sugar, Maida and things like that. Also we should incorporate some kind of exercise in our regime and the exercise would be the kind of exercise that you would probably like for example zumba, somebody like yoga, some people just like walking, some people like any, any gyming or any other kind of exercise that you would like. Besides that also if you still need an answer to obesity, homeopathy has an answer and we have also introduced a weight loss coffee, that helps reduce because it’s got Garcinia, it’s got cacao, it’s got green coffee, green tea and things like that, so that combination together increases your BMR therefore reducing your sugar cravings, your Maida cravings and therefore helps in reduction of weight.

Lybrate-user ,do not worry. Take milk everyday 150 ml morning and night without sugar, to cut down the calories, since you are obese. Milk contains natural calcium which is essential for bones. Walk in sunlight for Vit D, which is essential for calcium absorbtion. You can take tablet supplement Calcium with D3. Walk atleast for 45 minutes everyday. If you follow the 3 things what I suggested your bone density will increase, since you are only 30 yrs. Bye.

For gaining weight, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Please take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. In lunch have multigrain roti + 1bowl dal /palak paneer/ egg white bhurji + 1bowl salad. Evening have fruits shake/lassi/badam shake Dinner: 1-2 paneer stuffed roti/1-2 multigrain roti+ 1bowl dal+ 1bowl salad. Go for exercise.

Press your finger on the shin of your leg on the swelling for about 15 seconds. If there is a pit formation after you lift your finger, it is pitting oedema due to fluid collection. As you have already got your kft, lft done and these are normal, your salt intake may be more which may need restriction. Further if your serum proteins and hemoglobin levels are not checked, do it as hypopriteinaemia and anaemia are also a cause of body swelling. You may also need to check your cortisol levelif needed.

Know About The Stages Of Labour!

What is Labour?
Labour and delivery are demarcated by the end of the pregnancy when a woman delivers the child or more than one child and it leaves the uterus. Normally, the gestation period for humans is somewhere around 37 weeks to 42 weeks. In most developed countries, the deliveries happen in hospitals, where as in developing as well as under developed countries, births happen at home under the supervision of traditional birth attendant, called the midwife.

Stages of Labour:
Vaginal delivery is the most common form of childbirth. Labour consists of three stages

  • The opening and shortening of the cervix: Lasts from 12 to 19 hours
  • Coming down of the baby and its birth: 20 minutes to 2 hours
  • Expulsion of the placenta: Varies from 5 to 30 minutes

In the first stage, your abdominal muscles will begin to cramp associated with back pain. These cramps can be of durations of half a minute, about 10 minutes apart. These contractions start coming closer and become more intense as the second stage starts closing in. During the second stage, you may have to push along with the contractions to help give birth to your baby. Most babies are born head-first, although there are cases, when the baby is born buttocks first or legs first. This is commonly called “breeching”. In the third stage, it recommended to cut the umbilical cord and ensure that the placenta is entirely removed from the uterus or it may cause complications later.

The onset of labour is marked by the expulsion of the amniotic fluid and then the contractions begin to set in. Most women can walk around and eat food during labour, but when the contractions start to get too painful, it is suggested to get help and have someone around during that time. It is not recommended to push during the first phase, but then it becomes essential to push from the second stage onwards. Your gynaecologist will be able to tell you which stage of labour you are in by looking at the dilation of your cervix. As soon as you start to feel your contractions kicking in, you must contact your gynaecologist or your birthing attendant. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
