Sequence #1 Begin by sitting on your heals with knees bent. To soften any strain on your knees place a yoga block or folded blanket between your feet. Using your eyes to guide you, revolve your body to the right, looking over your shoulder. Hold and breathe for a count of 10, return to the center and revolve to the left in the same manner. Return to center. Extended Child Pose Extend your hands and arms forward into pose of the child. Try to place your buttocks on your heels. If this is too difficult open your knees wider and keep your feet together as you extend. Continue to breathe normally without forcing or “trying” to breathe. Sequence #2 Lie on your back, legs extended out and bring your right knee in towards your chest. Interlace your fingers around the knee.Elbows are lifted up and out to the side to keep the lungs open.Without forcing the knee, round up and gaze down the length of the extended leg. Hold for the count of 5 then roll down. Lower the right leg and repeat with the left leg. Bring both knees into your chest, and then extend away to arms length. Repeat in and away several times. This is a great massage for the lower digestive system, as well as, your lower back. Repeat the entire sequence 4-5 times then extend the legs out and relax in Savasana or resting pose. Sequence #3 Lying on your back, bring both knees in toward your chest and wrap your arms around your knees as much as possible. Hold for the count of 10, breathing naturally. Release your knees and keeping them bent, move them out and over your hips. Extend your arms out to the side and ground your shoulders and palms of your hands to the floor. Slowly lower your feet and knees over to the right, keeping your shoulders and palms grounded. Gaze towards the ceiling. You can make the rotations with knees bent and feet off the floor or an easier way is to keep the feet flat and together on the floor and lower from one side to the other. Return to the center and lower your bent legs over to the left. Move your legs from right to left inhaling to lift and exhaling to lower for 4-5 times. On the final rotation stay and hold on the right side for a count of 10. Then lift up and over to the left holding for 10 counts. Come back to the center, extend your legs and rest before repeating the sequence.

Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach. Consult doctor.

I have facing heartburn problem, I used cyra d cap 3 times weekly. Can you tell me what is the side effect. May I use it?

Hi, Take Cap. Cyra D continuously for 2-3 weeks one cap before breakfast. Take Tricaine gel 2tsf 3 times a day before food to reduce heartburn and pain. These medications when taken for such long duration, will heal the wounds inside the stomach. That is why the duration of the medicine is important. Avoid hot and spicy food intake during the treatment. Eat in small intervals in small quantities.

use cream anovate for pile. KMNO4 solution in tub sit on it twice . 100 % relief. Eat green veg. More fiber foods. Avoid fatty foods,junk foos,oily meal, drink plenty of water.take digestive meal . Syp. Aristozyme 10 ml thrice a day. Take tab. Charcol at night. Syp . Livoluk 10 ml at night. tests for constipation.. stool c/s, Examination of the rectum and lower, or sigmoid, colon (sigmoidoscopy) Examination of the rectum and entire colon (colonoscopy). An X-ray of the rectum during defecation (defecography). Avoid smoking/alcohol if you take.

I am 18 weeks pregnant still suffering from vomit, acidity and gas. Also I can not take much liquid in any form hence can't take recommended 12 glasses. I have been taking ondem 4 mg and pan d since I was 8 weeks pregnant. Are these medicine safe to continue for so long. Is there any alternative?

If the medicines are prescribed by your gynaecologist you can continue. Any doubts please reconfirm with your gynaecologist. O r take a second opinion. Alternative is controlling acidity with diet like ginger tea, lemon tea, frequent dry meals, sips of fluids and soup. Cold milk, suji rusk, icecream ,bakery biscuits etc can also be taken to relieve acidity.

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night.

You can try some method at home for gastric problems. Cinnamon Cinnamon works as a great fat burner. Take ½ tablespoon of cinnamon powder and steep it in water for 5 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of honey after straining the cinnamon water. Drink this before breakfast and before going to bed. Lemon Drinking lemon juice on the daily basis will definitely reduce the belly fat soon. Add lemon juice in a glass of water. Also add a pinch of salt. Stir it well. Drink this every morning. Garlic In order to reduce belly fat, chew 3-4 cloves of raw garlic in the morning and drink the lemon water after consuming garlic. This is the best home remedy to reduce belly fat fast. Maintain proper hygiene, take filtered water only. No smoking, no alcohol if any. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2 hrs after dinner and sleep. Sir, I am 44 years old. I am suffering from GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflex disease) for the past 6 years. I consulted various Gastroenterologist in Puducherry as well as Chennai. Endoscopy was done in twice resulting with Gastritis. Doctors recommended pantoprazole / Rabroprozole tablets in various forms and advised to take life long medicines otherwise recommended for laparoscopy surgery in Esophagus tract. Even continue medication as advised I didn't get remedy till date. Please advise medications in Siddha / Ayurveda.

Hi Mixing two teaspoonfuls of ghee in a glassful of milk and taking this once a day acts as a liner inside the gut and will heal all the destruction caused by the high flow of Pitta. Take pranacharya aceno syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya aceno capsule 1-1 twice a day. And avipattikar churna 1-1 gm with warm water. Good Morning Doctor, I am civil engineer, all type food taken in regular time in the age of 46 years. Last two months suffering from GAS problem, mainly in morning time too much and almost every hour once / twice. It is very shame to me also, maximum time gas discharge with highly noise. If it is repeated burping or belching immediately after meals, one possibility is that you swallow lots of air while you take your food. This can be reduced if one take food at leisurely pace. Generally eating at faster pace make us swallow air without our knowledge. Try being gentle to that speed of eating. And you will be benefited.

Hello During 2015 summers I started having boils. I had around 5 boils from june 2106 to dec. 2015. All of a sudden after few months since 4 days I had 2 boils again. The cause of your boils is ineffective digestion. Take triphala powder 1- 1.5 tsp daily at bedtime for a month. All your boils will reduce. You can continue it if you find it beneficial.

Eat a high-fiber diet. Get insoluble and soluble fiber. Limit foods that are high in fat. Choose lean meats. Incorporate probiotics into your diet. Eat on schedule. Stay hydrated.

U can continue. Do you have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibu pani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day for medicine contact on private chat.
