Sir
I have the habit of 'Hasthaprayogam' and I'm feeling that due to this my body weakness is increasing & bone pain...
No. Hastproygam/masturbation generally don't cause any weakness or bone pain. It is a habit and not a disease. Concentrate on your work /job and studies. Occasional masturbation is not harmful. If you don't than there can be night fall. Feel free to ask privately with details for more scientific suggestions.

It can be of many reasons. One of which can be nutritional deficiency. Or nervous problem. You may give her a multivitamin tablet. And also give her homoeopathic medicine Zincum Met 30 tds for one day. See if it helps. Report after 10 days.

From past two months I am suffering from lower back pain what would be the problem sir/madam? Kindly help me.

From past two months I am suffering from lower back pain what would be the problem sir/madam? Kindly help me.
If you have localized back pain with - no neurological symptoms like numbness, paresthesia, weakness in limbs etc, my advice is: - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a physiotherapist and then at home. - avoid forward bending, lifting heavy weights etc - take an analgesic like diclofenac or something which suits your body for 5-7 days - take muscle relaxant for same time as analgesic to relieve muscle spasm - ice packs at the site of pain, muscle spasm - local analgesic spray can be used but no massage is required let me know how you are feeling. I will actually ask you to get x ray of involved region of spine (ap & lateral) and send reports across to me so that I can advise further in a better manner. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Is it correct to do icing in place of injury at joint where there is swelling? What can be the disadvantage of it?

BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Hyderabad
Dear Mr Avijit, Icing has since long been used to decrease swelling or oedema, but there is stipulated duration to its use for therapeutic purposes, if your swelling has developed recently (24 to48 hrs) it may be recommended, but there is scanty evidence in medical literature that a long standing case of odema or swelling around the joint may respond to icing or cryotherapy, I suggest you to consult your Physio or Doc in your case for further clarification
