please check your relaxing posture in bed, you are not resting your neck On hard board of bed head or correct your sleeping posture avoid too much neck down work on computers

Take complete bed rest for at least 5 days. Apply cold pack on your knee twice a day and some ointment. Wear knee caps to provide compression at knee joints. If problem still continues, consult a doctor asap.

Pain in stomach could be due to indigestion, infection, gastric problem and can be managed easily. The picture given by you about back pain calls for immediate attention and needs x -ray of lumbo sacral spine to look for any pivd or spondylosis like problems. For the time being pl roast pure hing in ghee, make powder, mix turmeric, ajwain and black salt and take with warm water. On getting x ray reports further advise will be given.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem. REDUCE WEIGHT>

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Sciatica is pain because of nerve compression. It is back pain which goes in one leg. You need to strengthen your back muscles. Posture modification is required. Firm bed. Don't lift weight or do not bend forward. Use hot fomantation twice daily. Some medicines will be required for early relief.

My 5 year old daughter had a hairline fracture on her elbow. She was put on a cast for 3 weeks. Cast was removed about 6 days back but is not able to straighten her elbow and it seems to be locked. Should we go back to Orthopedist?

If, there is pain on touch, then plaster cast should be applied again for 2-3 wks. Gentle physiotherapy will help to regain mobility. Kindly do no massage.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I want to know your detailed clinical history, your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly. Calf pain can be due to several reasons like vitamin d deficiency, shin splints etc. My advise would be to stop physical activity for atleast 2 weeks if you are into sporting activities, initiate physical therapy to strengthen muscles, take adequate supplementation, ice packs and limb elevation, and let me know in around 2 weeks time. Hey, back pain can be due to wrong posture (occupational) or stiffness in your back or lack of strength. What you should do is start doing stretches and strengthening exercise for your back. Take ift sessions from nearby physiotherapist and start exercising on regular basis. Understand ergonomics from physiotherapist.

During a cricket match while running I fell due to which I experienced an impact on my knees and thighs and now since the last 3 days it is paining a lot. I sm suffering from sharp pain in my right shoulder and elbow and the connecting muscles. Also swelling at clavicle bone (right side). I had taken medicine and ultrasound in the clavicle bone a month ago. Swelling has reduced but pain in shoulder and elbow increased again and is excruciating. I also have gas problem (burping) and perennial cold with mucus always blocking my air passage from nose to mouth.

Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Take frequent breaks at work. Core strengthening exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.
