Hi sir/mam Am asking this question for my mom. She is now 49. My mom has pain in knee while standing more time and when waking up from bed or chair. Then we consult Dr. For this. Dr. Took x-ray and said that she has osteoarthritis. Now she is taking medicines for this. The Dr. Said that if the pain is not relieving take injection for knee. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain. Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation The sound what you hear is called as Crepitus /ˈkrɛpɪtəs/ (also termed crepitation) is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints or a crackling sensation due to the presence of air in the subcutaneous tissue. Popping Knees and Crackling Knuckles. Occasionally hearing pops, snaps, and crackles when you bend your knees doesn’t necessarily mean you have arthritis. The kneecap (patella) is the small, convex bone that sits at the front of the knee, shielding the joint.

Get an x-ray done and consult an orthopaedician. It is the simplest investigation for joint pathology.

Hello,Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for low back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person. So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treatment. In the mean time take Arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and Rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days.Take care.

You can help your back get back to normal by being extra careful about how you use it and doing a few easy, sensible exercises. -stay conscious of how you bend and lift: start the movement from your knees, not your back, when you lift baby, laundry, stroller, etc. -don't hunch over when you're feeding or cooing to your baby. A straight spine is a happier spine. -use a footrest to elevate your feet slightly when sitting. You deserve to put your feet up anyway! -try not to stand for long periods of time. Whenever possible, place one foot on a low stool when standing in order to take some pressure off your lower back. -do hot water fomentation for back pain. -weight management is another important thing for low back and knee pain. Best wishes.
