Mental strength of each individual varies according to the parenting they get in the childhood days, school environment, behaviour of friends circle, relatives etc. Most of depressed patients are of thinking more about their sins or guilt too much. Gulity conscious is good to some extent but beyond a limit leads to lack of interest in daily activities, poor concentration, indifference towards parents, relatives and friends whom you loved much. This again makes your mind much more worse. There are few simple tips to get rid of too much sensitive nature of mind and guilty conscious through counselling. Medical required or not is judged only after consulting patient mental status either directly or online. For treatment consult a qualified homoeopath.

You need to visit a psychiatrist immediately. This sounds like a serious condition, and you may be able to stave off worse developments if you act fast. Apart from the medication you must also seek help from a counselor for a good length of time. In the counseling you will learn a lot of skills and techniques to cope with the everyday challenges of life. If it turns out to be a pathological condition there is much work to be done and your cooperation is in your best interest. Do not self-regulate your medication, and comply with all the advice and prescriptions of the concerned doctors. When the mood swings to a better state, you may deceive yourself by thinking that you can now manage without help. That is a typical danger with this condition. Do not succumb to that belief and trust the professional. You could, if you want, seek a second opinion just for your curiosity.

People have different comfort levels in talking to people from the opposite gender. While extroverts like being the centre of attention and interacting with others, introverts may be shy in nature and are not always comfortable with social interaction. The good news is that you can overcome your phobia with the help of psychotherapy and counselling. Counselling is a completely confidential process and will help address your fears.

Dear, you must be able to understand concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. Please post a private question to me and I will help you with" effective learning" techniques. Take care.

Hi, thanks for writing in, welcome to the forum. Phases of preparation like this are stressful to most people. Some people are able to handle while others may not be able to. While most people would experience stress to some extent atleast, some will develop an anxiety or depressive disorder under these circumstances. Superficially at least, it appears that something of this sort is happening with you. I think it may be better for you to seek help because this kind of state of mind will prevent you from properly preparing as well; poor results will further fuel your anxiety and create a vicious cycle. With treatment your anxiety will reduce, you will be able to concentrate and remember better and, even though you will still have the hurdle of exam to clear, it will appear much less intimidating. I hope you get better soon. Take care!

General Physician,
Only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum, like nicorette and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. You can chew nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. You can ask me privately.
