There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed to protect against future flares or prevent gout or uric acid problems from occurring in the first instance: maintain a high fluid intake (2-4 liters a day) avoid alcohol maintain a healthy body weight eat a balanced diet limit fish, meat and poultry intake. If attempting to lose weight, avoid low-carbohydrate diets. If carbohydrate intake is insufficient, the body is unable to burn its own fat properly, releasing substances called ketones into the bloodstream. This results in a condition called ketosis that can increase the level of uric acid in the blood. It is most important to avoid foods that are high in purines, to ensure that the levels of uric acid in the blood do not get too high. Here is a list of high-purine foods to be wary of: beef kidneys brains dried beans and peas liver mackerel mushrooms lose some weight by walking or other exercise, avoid meats and get always be on a prescribed diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian. Dear lybrate user, sperm cells are being continuously produced inside human testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before being ejaculated. Masturbating ejaculates many mature as well as immature sperm & results in the temporary deficit of sperm count. This loss of sperm results in the increased production of sperm. A sperm is mainly made up of protein. An increased production of sperm count needs a steady supply of protein. This supply of protein is met from the amount of protein we intake daily. Over masturbation increases the rate of production of sperm to such extent that the demand for protein cannot be fulfilled naturally & it often results in breakdown of protein from muscle tissues. This breakdown of muscle tissues is externally manifested as fatigue, weakness etc. Addiction to masturbation denotes that you are continuously indulged in sexual thoughts. Two cup of green tea is advisable. It does not cause problem. If heart beat increases after taking green tea,you can atop taking green tea. Do an ECG to exclude heart disease

Hi, Follow these tips: - Do not keep your stomach empty for long durations, - Eat in small quantities frequently. - Avoid hot, spicy and oil fried food - Drink plenty of water in between your intake. - Keep away from mental stress and tensions, - Perform physical exercises daily and meditation helps to relieve mental stress and tensions. - Consume lot of fibre like raw vegetables, oats, fruits, sprouts, etc - Avoid excess intake of coffee or tea , intake of medicines on empty stomach. - Be careful about the food while eating outside. - Carry a small pack of biscuit or some fruits along with you for emergency. - Whenever you suffer from acidity, take the medications prescribed by the doctor for 2-3 weeks continuously until the wounds in the stomach gets healed completely. - Sleep at least for 8 hours a day. - Restrict the usage of pain killers and antibiotics frequently.

Masturbation is not the culprit, as you are thinking. So, don't blame yourself. Erection problem is very easy to treat if we come to know the exact cause by checking you and then treating the cause. Often simple counseling can help.

It could be hemorrhoids , rectal polyps , fissure , rectal ulcers etc . It may also be cancer . So you should get it examined with per rectal examination along with sigmoidoscopy/colonoscopy if required

Snoring

Snoring is the production of upper airway noise via breathing during sleep.
• Snore- during sleep, the noise produced while breathing through the mouth.
• Snoring is a sound a person makes during sleep when his or her breathing is disrupted.
Aetiology /pathogenesis-
Snoring originates in the parts of the upper airway which have no rigid support to counteract compression from outside or collapse from inside. This narrowing leads to local acceleration and turbulence of the breathed air. This, in turn, causes vibration of the pharyngeal wall.
The structures concerned are-
• Soft palate
• Uvula
• Tonsils
• Base of the tongue
• Pharyngeal muscles and
• Pharyngeal mucosa.
Factors contributing to snoring-
The palate, tongue and pharyngeal muscles play a part in keeping the airway open during the inspiration. If, during the deep sleep phase, and especially during REM sleep, the muscle tone is insufficient, the tongue can fall backward due to gravity, and vibrate against the soft palate, uvula and pharynx. This occurs particularly in the supine position.
Anatomical abnormalities can limit the passage of air in the oropharynx and the hypopharynx. Such abnormalities include-
• Enlarged tonsils and adenoids
• Fatty tissue in the pharynx (due to obesity)
• A relatively large tongue (in the case of retrognathia, micrognathia and acromegaly).
• A narrow nasal passage causes an increase in negative pressure during inspiration, which increases the effect on the flaccid pharyngeal tissue. A particularly long palate and uvula also narrow the nasopharyngeal opening during inspiration. This explains why people who normally do not snore may do so when they have a cold or allergic rhinitis.
• Septal abnormalities, nasal polyps and tumours can also contribute to constriction.
• Hypothyroidism, neurological disorders, alcohol and hypnotics can intensify the overall effect.
Signs and symptoms-
• Unexplained tiredness or sleepiness during the day.
• Disrupted social activities and relationship problems (and even divorce). The snoring noise can sometimes be as loud as 50–70 db, which is similar to the noise of a low-flying jet plane.
• Sometimes, temporarily stopped-breathing (sleep apnoea), which can be very alarming.
Examination-
Very careful examination of the ear, nose and throat area, particularly the tonsils, palate, uvula and tongue is made. Nasal polyps, swollen turbinates, septal deviation, hyper reactive nasal mucosa, and abnormal anatomy of the lower jaw (relatively too small or recessed) is evaluated. Weighing the patient and blood pressure is next step. If hypothyroidism is suspected, the thyroid stimulating hormone level is checked.
Management-
The average snorer is a person more than 40 yrs old. While he inhales or exhales during sleep, the soft palate vibrates noisely. Snoring is usually caused by a condition which hinders breathing such as a cold, an allergy, a nasal polyp, tumor or deviated nasal septum. The cause must be removed to stop snoring. Snoring can also be diminished by reducing weight, stopping smoking and drinking alcohol in evening before sleeping.
Option 1-
If no abnormalities are found on the history or examination, no treatment is required.
Option 2-
If further investigations are found, general measures can be suggested. These include-
• Losing weight if necessary
• Avoiding lying on the back if the snoring is position-dependent and
• As appropriate, discouraging smoking, alcohol consumption and the use of hypnotics.
• Any underlying causes or contributory factors, such as hypothyroidism or allergies are treated.
• Mechanical devices placed in the nose and mouth only reduce snoring to a limited extent.
• If, in the case of habitual snoring, the patient temporarily stops breathing and/or the patient reports that he is sleepy and tired during the day, sleep apnoea syndrome must be considered.
• Snoring can also be cured about 80% by surgery. The operation is called uvulopalato-pharyngoplasty.
Prevention
Attention to weight, smoking, alcohol and hypnotics, and avoiding sleeping on the back are effective preventive measures. Reassurance is sometimes appropriate, particularly if there are groundless fears about sleep apnoea.

How To Increase Sperm Density?

Infertility is a bigger issue than it was a couple of decades ago, and it is only going to get worse. The decreasing sperm count and quality are the main contributors for infertility. This has happened due to the changing lifestyle with lack of physical activity, increased stress, relationship issues, a greater amount of pollutants, and digital exposure. These are some of the common issues, and each couple presents a unique case.

There is, however, good news in that there are simple, effective ways to improve sperm count and density, which in turn can help cure infertility.

  1. Smoking: Nicotine harms the body in multiple ways and lowering sperm count is one of the significant ones. For most men going to infertility clinics, stopping smoking is one of the first prescribed remedies. It helps sex drive, boosts sperm count, improves performance, and leaves the couple happy.

  2. Reduce Chemical Exposure: There are plastics all around us. These plastics contain BPA and phthalates which have been shown to reduce sperm count. Plastics have entered all areas of life in the last 40 to 50 years, and it is during the same time that sperm count has reduced by (hold your breath) 50%!!!

  3. Reduce Plastic Use: Reduce plastic use in all forms – from sex toys to plastic food storage to water containers. Chemicals also need to be reduced in terms of eating foods where pesticides would be used. Another source of chemicals is the shampoos, soaps, deodorants, cosmetics, and other toiletries. Try organic products as much as possible. These have an adverse effect on the sperm count.

  4. Water: Avoid chlorine exposure – be it in tap water, bleach or other products. Hydrogen peroxide is a safer option.

  5. Diet: Reduce caffeine intake. Avoid grilled foods. Increase fresh fruits and vegetable intake. Eat whole grains. Avoid canned and packaged foods. Avoid processed and half-cooked foods. Reduce refined carbohydrates. If required, talk to a doctor and get vitamin C and zinc supplements. These are essential for the formation of testosterone hormone and can play a role in improving sperm count.

  6. Exercise: A regular exercise of about 30 minutes daily is highly beneficial in improving overall circulation and increasing sperm count. A word of caution, though – over-exercise can lead to reduced sperm counts and infertility in males.

  7. Stress Management: Another major reason for infertility, reduced sex drive, reduced sperm count, and poor sexual performance is stress. Be it exercise or music, meditation or cooking, identify what works to keep you calm and do it.

  8. Check your Medical Kit: There could be some medicines which may be helping you curing one disease but could be leading to infertility. Talk to a doctor and if there is a culprit, switch to a safer drug.

though it may not do any harm but hand made chapati is better and tasty . if u want to use roti maker then first learn properly how to use it and method of preparing dough and so on . roti maker chapati may turn hard on keeping for some time .hand made may be less time consuming . so over all hand made chapati is better . good luck

Night fall is very common problem in younger age. Semen production occur 24 hourly & it has limited capacity for storage. Other cause you have quit masturbation, If you do not do ejaculate then nightfall is only way to come out of stored semen as its production is continuous process. 1-2 week frequency is normal.
