You need to shed at least 15-20 kgs weight for which you need to change your lifestyle. Start doing some physical activity regularly for atleast 30-40 mins and change your eating pattern. You should not drink it daily. you can have it when you have dehydration, excessive sweating , fatigue, tiredness lack of energy etc

My FBS is 152 and pp is 178 with diet and exercise my FBS is under 110 during one month constant. I have no family history with diabetes problem kidney problems heart problem blood pressure problem. Which percentage with me suffer these type of problem without control blood sugar and blood pressure and with control blood sugar and blood pressure.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Your earlier glucose levels showed that you were in a pre-diabetic stage. In this situation by adapting a modified lifestyle one can prevent progression to diabetes or postpone it. It is good to see that you have been able to reverse the trend. You will have to continue the same, so that you remain fit and free from any further problem. There is no way to predict what may happen in future. If you remain free from diabetes for a long time then you will be able to maintain a good healthy life. Thanks.

Diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. To gain muscle, you must eat protein. To boost the ratio of muscle to fat gain, you must exercise. To gain muscle and strength, you must engage in resistance exercise. To improve bodyfat percentage and gain weight, you must cycle through phases of gaining muscle and losing fat.

Hello. I'm a 22 year female of height 5.5" and weight 58 kgs. Would taking vitamin and mineral supplements help in controlling hairfall and growth of hair? My hairfall is not so severe but yeah I lose about 100 strands a day. I've tried all external masks and cures. Nothing worked. If supplements help would you mention the dosage and proper diet.

Hello You need not worry. Take high protein diet and do some exercise. Take an onion grate it and then squeeze to get the juice and add ghee to it. Apply this to your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes. Then wash your head. Do this twice a week. Include whole milk and milk products, whole pulses, seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet. Drink plenty of water. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Thank you

According to you weight and height it is propotionate but even though you want to increase the weight then start eating Amala fruit 2 to3 times a week it will help to increase your appetite.

There can be many factors due to which gaining proper weight is difficult. •Genetic •Improper diet. •Over active Lifestyle or high Metabolism. Tips to help you gain weight are:- 1.Increase the carbohydrate content in your diet. 2.Plan 2-3 snacks in between the 3 major meals those are in calories. 3.No fluids before and in between of meals. 4.Check the quantity of caffeine and nicotine. Increase concentrated calories like: 1.Nuts and seeds for example: almonds, peanuts and pumpkin seeds. 2.Proper intake of protein in form of whole chicken whole eggs and paneer will help you maintain good muscle mass. 3.Take proper rest sessions and sleep to let body overcome the fatigue.

You need to avoid eating all foods that come in a packet and is processed in factories, like - biscuits, all types of breads, noodles, salty snacks, jams & spreads, colas and juices, chocolates & ice-creams, white sugar and refined oil etc. Reduce intake of milk, rice & wheat based foods. Increase intake of fruits, veggies, green leaves, nuts & seeds. All the best.
