My wife is suffering from elbow pain and her arm also started to shrink from some time. Before 2 months we went to Amandeep clinic at jammu there we come to know that her arm nerves were compressed by a bone of elbow. Then they suggest us for an operation at Amandeep hospital Amritsar, we favoured there point and then operation was held and it was successful according to them. But at present time there is no change in condition of her arm. So please suggest us best method for curing her arm.

Use Topical Analgesic for rubbing upto 5-10 minutes follwed by hot water bag massage for 15 minutes 2-3 times per day for 7-10 days. If you find giod then be happy or make me updated again. Just avoid repeatative movements of given elbow till then. Give it real time to get awake to run.

I have this constant pain in my left foot heels since the past 1 year. Got an x-ray, but that too was normal, started wearing Dr. Scholls sandals, had pain killers, that too hasn't helped. What could be the cause as it is very uncomfortable at times I can't keep my foot down. Please Help.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Start spinal extension exercises (learn from physiotherapist) and do them 20 mins 3 times a day. Get the following blood tests fasting: calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphotase, vitamin d levels and uric acid and revert back with reports.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem. For your eye problem kindly consult a eye doctor.

Give the rest for injury area apply ice fermentation 3 times a day avoid weight lifting. Apply this methods for 2 days. If the pain is not reduced consult orthopaedic physician or physiotherapist for further evaluation and treatment.

Dear lybrate-user. Sometimes medicines will not help in reducing pain. Apply heat fermentation with any pain reliever ointment twice a day for a week. If no change in pain. Then take physiotherapy treatment. Inferential and ultrasonic therapy helps reducing pain.

I am 47 years old, male. Last one month I am facing a pain in my both feet. Sometimes it pinches. Generally I have pain in both of leg since 2 years but it is not any bone related mainly muscles related. If I stretch my legs it gives relief. What I should do? Pinching kind of pain can also be due to nerve problems and yes muscle tightness too. So, I suggest you to be regular with your stretching exercises. Like calf stretch, foot stretches, plantar fascia stretch and try contrast bath too. Contrast bath therapy, also known as" hot/cold immersion therapy" is a form of treatment where the feet is immersed in warm water for 3 minutes followed by the immediate immersion of the foot/feet in cold water for 3 minutes. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. This helps in improving blood circulation and help relieves pain. Also in addition to the above mentioned treatment, get yourself tested for vit b12 and vit d deficiency as these can also be the cause of such pain.

You need to give ice pack application to her legs for 5 mins 3 times in a day and take calc phos 6x 3 tablets for 3 times in a day for 2 weeks. You will be alright within 2-3 days, but please continue it for 2 weeks for further avoid any such damage.

I am a 28 yr old male, while exercising in oct' 2014, got shoulder pain which refused to go. Underwent various medical tests such as mri, vitamin d etc. The scans showed that I have a shoulder bursitis. Have been on medications since november 2014 and have undergone physiotherapy as well but to very little effect. The only choice as per doctors now is either steroid shots (which have its own set of pros and cons) or a shoulder endoscopy for correction of the problem. Any alternative way outs most welcome. Also would love to know about the pros and cons of the above mentioned methods. Thanks in advance

Have you undergone laser therapy. For shd pain? if not go for it, it may give you good effects.& some resistable conditions require steroid inj. Which symptoms provides you instant relief from pain for a few months to years. Depends on patient s body. In some 5 percent cases it may not give any relief from pain. Go for laser therapy & mwd (microwave diathermy ) first.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. A person should sleep from 10 pm to 6 am and for pain take tablet paracetamol and also start with Tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and tablet vitamin D3 60000iu once a week for six months
