I have back pain over 60 days. I used pain relief bum but no relief from from pain. What should I do?

Dear lybrate-user, get a mri done to pin point the cause and site of pain. Meanwhile go for ayurveda's panchkarma therapy - we have many option for you - kati basti (specialised panchakarma procedure for backpains), localised massgae with herbal oils, localised medicated steam, pottali massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. These procedures will relax your back muscles and give strength to your nerves and muscles of back. Also start some yogic exercises - tadasana, dhanurasan, halasana along with these therapies. This will greatly help. Please avoid pushing / pulling heavy objects, long sittings, long two-wheeler drives. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Please update with your valuable feedback after 15 days.\

For your skin problem do consult dermatologist, and for lt. Hand pain do consult neuro physiotherapist and take ift and laser therapy for 12 days followed by shoulder mobilisation exercises.

I have backache from 2-3 days and I do not know the reason behind this sophisticated pain please tell me something.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

I am a 44 years old architect working on computers for long hours. Recently the fingers of both my toes have started to pain immensely whenever I try to bend them or even while walking. I go for little walks more or less 3 to 4 times a week. And do little push up exercises at home. I am 5ft 9 inches tall weighing 75 kgs. Kindly advise. Thank you.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Also take calcium tablets shelcal 500mg for a limited period 2 months consult after 10 days.

I 28 year old an I have knee joint pain since 2 year. Any curative treat ment for me.

1. Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 2. Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 3. Take 1 tsf triphala churna daily. N practice yoga daily twice. 4. Take 1 tab rhumagold/15 days. 30 min after meals. 5. Drink 12-15 glasses of water daily. 6. Do brisk walk daily. Morning and evening.

Hello sir/mam mai ye puchna chahti hu k agar kisi ko back pain spine pain ki problem ho ya lordosis increase ho rahe ho to use kis tarah ke bed pe letna chahiye. Soft bed or hard bed? And kya hum floor pe bhi let sakte hai? Usse koi problem to nahi hogi.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital X RAYS of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi, looks like severe loss of calcium and vit d which may trigger arthritic pain, or som local inflammation in the joint. You must correct that with some good exs programme with a physiotherapist, weight bearing exs especially To begin with start static recliner biking for 10-15 mins.

Hi, I been suffering from severe lower back pain. MRI and X rays have been normal. Doctors keep telling about back strengthening exercise for 20 mins every day. I have severe pain. My wife is 62 year old and known case of DM, HT. Recently in 2014 she had bye pass surgery. Now she has back pain in her upper in center area and also coughing. What should I do?

Hi sir! as she had undergone an open heart surgery (cabg) recently, cough, constipation and chest cage pain are the routine complaints, she must have given spirometer for improving her lung capacity, that she must do few times after every 20 to 30 min, once her lungs are back to the normal capacity cough will disappear. Please make sure that she is taking all her medication without fail, for her back pain bed rest is neccessary also after sometime she can go for physiotherapy, which will help her to be pain free in a systematic way in the long run. In case of emergency she can use mild pain killer, also she must keep her sugars and bp under good control.
