Doctor. I have a shoulder dislocation problem. Last year I was doing workout in the gym in got that problem since there after I stop the gym. But after a break period of 1 year the problem is still there. I had also asked from the one of popularly known bones doctor about this problem. And he told me to stop doing movements of shouldrs for one. It will cure your shoulders problem. But still I m facing it

Hiii actually taking medicine for pain its not a solution. Firstly we have to know the causes of pain. So better you have to take a proper consultation. Now I advice only you have to apply icepack (crayotherapy) for 15 min on tender point.

Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I am suffering from pain in my elbow of right arm in elbow joint from 1 month due to pick the high weight from this arm?

I am suffering from pain in my elbow of right arm in elbow joint from 1 month due to pick the high weight from this arm?
Mostly pain in elbow is due to strained or inflamed soft tissues like tendon. There are many other reasons why pain in elbow occurs so to rule out the exact cause you need to go for proper investigation. Pain in elbow is common complain of players or housewives. After looking to your pain I would recommed you for some care that you can take at home. If possible visit some physio who can give you several mdalities like US, IFT etc to cure the pain. Along with it we have a special program designed in case of elbow pain (tennis or golfer’s elbow) like PNF, Hold Relax etc just to get relief from pain. Precautions: 1. Avoid weight lifting. 2. Avoid doing twisting moments like supination-pronation which usally is done while playing badmitton or while washing clothes. 3. Give rest to your work for some days. 4. Wear forearm band to rest your muscles. 5. Avoid bending your elbow into positions that cause the symptoms. Treatment: 1. Give rest to your elbow. If severe pain you can use sling to avoid gravity pressure. 2. Ice and hot pack combo. Apply ice for 3 min and then hot for 2 min. There is very good result of both applications together. After 3 days of taking contrast therapy you can make the ice and hot ratio as 1: 1 mean one min cold and then one min hot. Start with hot pack and ends with cold. Take it for 15-18 min thrice a day for early recovery. Please make sure it should not be too hot or too cold. 3. Massage using your 2 fingers over the painful area. 4. Exercises: Start the exercise once your pain is decreased atleast 50-60% A) Palm lifting B) Elbow up and down in gravity eliminated position C) Strengthening of elbow muscles. I am 67 years of old. Getting some pain in my right knee and right shoulder joint Applying deep heat but not recovering. It remains same not increasing. I had a hernia surgery 5 months back by laparoscopy. Can any doctor let me know the reason and remedy if any I can pay the the fees but cannot visit as I am out of India.

Anti-inflammatory drugs may help a little, here's what you can do instead
Back pain can really get disabling. The nagging pain can not only put you on stress but also meddles with your daily routine. According to a recent study published in'annals of the rheumatic diseases, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids) may help a little in getting rid of back pain. On the other hand, excessive usage of such drugs may cause bleeding and ulcers in stomach among other gastro-intestinal problems.

Experts from the george institute for global health, australia conducted experiments to test the effectiveness of existing medicines that used commonly used for treating back pain. The team examined more than 6000 people from 35 trials.
 It was found that only one in every 6 patients received any considerable benefit from consuming such medications.
The team also brought to light the fact that, in most cases, the effects of nsaids are short-lived and often harm people's health. Taking these facts into account, the experts urged to focus more of preventive measures over treatment.

Back pain can be caused by a host of different reasons. From an old injury resurfacing, to excessive sitting, sedentary lifestyle and incorrect posture - the culprit can be any or a cocktail of all. Prevention would certainly involve taking short breaks at work, investing in physical exercise, practicing flexibility enhancing techniques like yoga, assuming a correct sitting posture and eating a balanced diet. A series of backward bending yoga postures can help relieve back pain. Some of these would include

Hello madam, Your brother is suffering from LBP. Let him to use LS Belt. He should perform some physical exercise such as Bending back ward having support on both side hip. Some times Bending bilaterally having support by hand on both sides of upper hip. Bhujangasan Saba sana can be done sleeping touching abdomen. Further he can continue some drugs which will be very helpful to him to get relief. Feel free to contact me for better health care.

Knee pain can happen due to so many reasons. Only applying ointments will not catch and cure the disease. Consult a Google Doctor, he will find the accurate reason of your knee pain by doing exam on your knee and relevant test like Xrays, lab test etc. He will treat you accordingly then.
