Hi lybrate-user, For your height your weight is too low, I suggest you to increase intake of proteins n fresh fruits and vegetables. Yes physical activity will help you gain weight. I I think any infection in your body .for D3 and B12 start medicine .do blood test also cbc esr widol and urine r/m, then understand main reason. Sometime also B12 create pain.

Hi, Age 26 & weight 40 kgs is very less, first we need rule out any underlining cause :- do you have normal appetite or don't feel like eating most of time, do you have habit of drinking ,smoking, any history of recreational drug abuse (marijuana or any thing like this) or any habit such as masturbation (addiction) more than normal, if any of above mentioned habit, then 1st and foremost advise will be avoid doing such things, you need to change your life style. Eat healthy diet [lot of protein diet, eat fresh fruits, take milk products ],exercise on daily basis, give time of 6-8 months to let your body recover and then only you can gain weight. Get a detailed blood investigation done and review reports with me. For any more questions you can ask me.

It is not true. Corn flakes does not reduce any weight. It is just a misleading advertisement. Weight reduction can happen when the overall daily calories are reduced and you also add one hour of exercise everyday.

4 Strengthening Exercises To Control Knee Pain!

The knee is one of the largest and most important joints of our body. It is also susceptible to wear and tear as well as injuries. Knee pain can occur due to a variety of reasons starting from conditions like arthritis problem and osteoporosis as well as injuries that can affect the ligaments, the joint, the menisci and femur. These are the various parts of the knees, which can suffer from degeneration or even injuries. The best way to combat chronic knee pain is through rest, ice compress and with the help of pain relieving and anti-inflammatory medication. 

While rest and ice compress for chronic knee pain and pain relieving and anti-inflammatory medication are the best ways to combat knee pain, orthopaedics also recommend the use of various strengthening exercises which can alleviate knee pain. Here are a few of the best ones!

  1. The towel hook: Lie down flat on your back and raise one leg, Hook a towel under the foot and press it against the towel as you pull both ends downwards, creating slight pressure. This can be done for a few seconds at a time. Remember to do this at least ten times for each foot and increase gradually. This exercise helps in strengthening your entire leg from the calf to the knee and even the thighs so that the pain subsides.
  2. Towel roll: In towel roll exercise, after pushing knee, should do dorsiflexion and hold for 20 seconds.. Hamstring exercises are also given by placing roll towel under your feet, push down, dorsiflexion and hold for 20 seconds Adductor exercises are also given by placing small ball between your legs just above the knee joint, press and hold for 20seconds.
  3. Swing: For this exercise, you will need to sit down on a chair. Now take one leg and swing it up until it is in line with your hip. Hold it out like this before you slowly bring it down again. Do this at least twenty to thirty times for each leg and gradually increase the frequency and the number of seconds for which you hold the knee. This will also help in pain management.
  4. Knee marches: You can also do knee marches by sitting down on a chair. You will need to march each knee up and down at least twenty to thirty times. You will need to do this for a few minutes every day and you can easily do it twice a day even when you are at work, sitting in front of a desk. You must ensure that your posture is straight and upright for this exercise.

Hydrotherapy in combination with anti inflammatory and physiotherapy can give a reasonably long relief Dose adjustments need to be done for acute flares if any.

Gud eve sir .diet rich food -u can use soya bean is good protein food along with you can take milk with aswagandha powder mixing it. And you can also add paneer food items in your daily meal. Banana helpful in maintaining all protein along with you can gain wait .but must and compulsory please add ghee in your daily life style which will give not only stamina but also help in boosting your immune system .eat beans greeny veges and avoid over fried items like Gobi 65 etc and when ever possible you can take coconut (copra) in your diet.

Hello dear don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. .Drink milk as much you can. Try weight gainer shakes. .Use bigger plates. .Add cream to your coffee. .Take creatine. .Get quality sleep. Eat heavy breakfast lunch or dinner or eat sweets after every meals

Take Swamala (by Shree Dhoothpapashwar) 1 spoon before breakfast and before dinner. 4 gm Trikatu churna, before 1/2 an hour of lunch. Take soaked Sunflower seeds (15gm, Fresh seasonal fruits, Coconut water (09: 00- 10: 00 am,1 hour after breakfast, Salads with lunch And Soup with mix veg khichri (dal+ rice+ seasonal vegetables) as dinner.

Weight gain can be a time-consuming process. But you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Please take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. In lunch have multigrain roti + 1bowl dal /palak paneer/ egg white bhurji + 1bowl salad. Evening have fruits shake/lassi/badam shake Dinner: 1-2 paneer stuffed roti/1-2 multigrain roti+ 1bowl dal+ 1bowl salad. Exercises To Gain Weight and Get Enough Sleep And Very Important Keep Yourself Motivated.

Hi, Take tab. Shallaki 400 mg 1-2 tabs 3 times a day depending on the severity of the pain. Take Balarista 2tsf 3 times a day, mixed with equal quantity of water and Maharasnadi Khadha 2 tsf 3 times a day, mixed with equal quantity of water. Apply Rumalaya liniment to the affected joints and massage in circular motion for 10-15 mins and then take hot water fomentation. Avoid potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet pumpkin, peas, channa, recently harvested rice, jackfruit, etc. Which aggrevate the pain. You can even undergo physio- therapy for 10-15 days.

Generally we advised patient to avoid milk and milk products those who are suffering by allergic problems, like sinusitus, sneezing, skin allergy. Get milk from outside. Put cornflakes eat. Take 2 bananas. Fruits may change periodically. Similarly replace cornflakes and milk with roasted black grams etc.

Keep 2 hours gap in every meal of yours. Do not eat oily fried food. Cucumber or cucumber juice is healthy for you to keep your body calm and cool. Coconut water again helps neutralizing your body. Drink atleast 3-4 litres of water.
