Smoking is an addiction to calm your mind. First calm mind and have no tensions. Then there will mo need to calm mind and automatically you will have reduced need to smoke. Best wishes.

I have fallen in deep love with my friend, she is not from my religion - she is hindu brahmin girl. But I am totally mad for her, I feel so attracted towards her that I frequently masturbate imagining her, I watch her photo in my phone for hours, and always think of good moments we shared together, I hear our recorded conversation when I feel low, she just know I like her but she is unaware of my deep feelings for her as I didn't tell her my true feelings. Some times I do feel I love her but I am scared of the consequences it can have on both of us. We both hail from very conservative families. Do justice to this relationship and have a nice life with her. You may come across another girl in life and get attracted to her and think you are in love and can't live without her. So every thing you and your mind desires can not be acquired in life. we have to put boundaries and live in our own limits and lead life. you are in fantasy love with the girl and also believe that the girl also had love for you. This is out wishes and trying to justify our wishes. this is not correct. love your girlfriend more and lead a good life with her.

Hi lybrate-user. Its good to know that you are at this juncture out of depression. My suggestion to you is live your life as you wish but maintain some discipline. Like sleep hygeine, proper diet, plenty of fluid, set priority for your work and try to make a new friend. As you told you r alone but I tell you if you try to engage in any activity then automatic you realize many of well wisher around u.

Dear user. This comes under behavior addiction. Behavioral addiction is a form of addiction that involves a compulsion to engage in a rewarding non-drug-related behavior – sometimes called a natural reward – despite any negative consequences to the person's physical, mental, social or financial well-being. Behavior addiction needs to be curbed or controlled using your own self will power. Diverting your mind and body away from the circumstances which compels you for the addictive habit, with the help of physical exercises, games, entertainment etc can help you. Never sleep alone. Be always with your family even at night etc are some other tips. Willpower is the key always. Behavioral therapy also works well. Take care.

I think you have a medical condition known as PICA. Eating slate pencil can cause abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea. Since it is made from the dust, it may cause eye irritation, and isn't good for your lungs. Some kinds of chalk may contain toxic additives. Determine and address the nutritional deficiency that is causing you to eat chalk. Once you no longer have a deficiency, your body will stop craving chalk, and the habit will stop on its own.

Depression may affect all the people during some part of their life. In some people it comes and passes away soon whereas some individuals are not able to cope with the depressive situations of life and they continue to suffer which affects their physical and mental health.  Please make a note of it that it's a phase and it will pass. *it is necessary to take enough sleep to get relief from depression. Insomnia or loss of sleep is one of the important causes of depression. Therefore, people who lack sleep should calm down their brain by taking normal sleep. *you should go out with friends and enjoy in the company of others. Do not sit alone for longer periods of time. One should engage in several activities of recreation to get some entertainment. * Morning walk increases the supply of oxygen to the brain and it helps in removing the symptoms of depression. *Healthy food is very necessary to get relief from the state of depression. *drink more water to remove the waste chemical substances from the body. *Exercise also helps in the treatment of depression. *Yoga asana and mild exercise helps to increase the supply of blood to the brain and gives quick relief from depressive state of mind. Your problem is your thinking only. Do not fear do aerobic excersices yoga will help you do pranayam in morning. Read some good books. You take Ķeva aloe noni drops 5 drops in a cup of normal water empty stomach after 20 to 30 minuties take breakfast. End 5 drops in evening

Hello, There are many aspects of depression, the more of them you have the more likely you are to have a clinical depression. Some patients feel severely depressed and suicidal. If you have these feelings you should go to the emergency department immediately. Other things that people with depression can feel are sadness, low energy, lack of motivation, poor sleep, irritability, weight gain or loss, poor self image and sometimes even a lack of touch with reality. The more of these symptoms you have the more likely it is that you have serious depression. Treatments for depression include medications, counseling and exercise. Avoid too oily end ghee prepretions fast end junk food habites end too spacy also. You take Ķeva aci drops 5 drops in a cup of normal water empty stomach after 20 to 30 minu ties take breakfast end in evening also. After two dose you fill acid reflex than 5 drops in noon also take for a month. Consult me for further treatment.

Since last 1.5 years or so, I'm struggling to recall the new words which I just saw few minutes back. I went to Psychiatrist, he told me to have deficiency of Vit. B12 and D3. I'm taking medicine since last 2 months but I can't see any improvements. I'm not getting why is it happening and what is its root cause. When I see people around me, they are able to recall those same new words instantly but this is not the case with me. Kindly let me know why is it happening and what can be done for it.

Sir I am suffering in dementia but nobody is trusting me & people are treating me like a mad. I have consulted a neurologist of apollo hospital hyderabad but he has tried to hide the things for mmy good sake saying that I am just in depression and now my legs are getting heavy and weak gradually. Dear lybrate-user, Dementia is an old/middle age problem. Memory loss at your age, will NOT be due to dementia. Probably your neurologist is right in saying, it is depression. He is NOT hiding dementia. After 2-3 weeks of Stalopam (antidepressant - not sleeping pills - take it in the morning itself) and betacap, get back to him. He may adjust the dose depending on your memory abilities and fluency. Or he may refer you to a psychiatrist for better management of your preoccupation of dementia.
