Sir. Recently I took thyroid test. The results shows T3 90. 31ng/dl T4. 10. 4 microng/dl Tsh. 3. 12micronIU/ml Sir the T3 and Tsh levels shows with in the biological reference interval But the T4 level is very close to the uppermark of interval i. E 10. 9 given inthe test. Do I need to start the thyroid treatment considering it as hyperthyroidism. Pls give me clinical suggestion. Thank you.

lybrate-user, Your thyroid test result is normal. There is no need to consider you have either hyperthyroidism or hypo. For hyperthyroidism to be considered TSH levels have to be lower than 0.1 mU/L. So do not worry. In fact looking at your weight and height your BMI is 25.01 kgs / M2 (normal <23 kgs/M2), so you need to exercise daily and reduce a few kgs. Your ideal body weight should be about 55 kgs. Thanks.

Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Simple Knee Exercises would help to strengthen the quadriceps muscle which is the key muscle.

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: 1. To get fitness, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. Do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. I assure you that you definitely get fitness by applying these tips and lifestyle. Be healthy.

You change food habites. Add in your daily food carbohydrates, proteins, vitamines, minirales, milk etc. Go for gym also. You take 1 spoon liv-52 syrup 20 minutes before lunch end dinner will help to you.

Breakfast: wheat porridge (daliya) with raisins (kishmish) and milk lunch: black-eyed peas (lobhia) rice evening snack: banana (kela) milkshake dinner: vegetable khichdi raita tuesday breakfast: dal parantha glass of milk lunch: kidney beans (rajma) rice cucumber (kheera) raita evening snack: orange (santara) dinner: bottle gourd (lauki/doodhi) kofta curry chapati wednesday breakfast: idli with sambhar glass of buttermilk lunch: spinach (paalak) and paneer chapati evening snack: apple (seb) dinner: pink lentil (dhuli masoor) dal cabbage (patta gobhi) sabzi rice/chapati curd.

I feel your problem is rather psychological than physical. There are many causes for weakness and muscular pain like anemia, harmonal problems, deficiency of essential vitamins and proteins, etc. Consume balanced diet and perform regular exercise. Have good sleep. Keep away from mental stress and worries. If you are financially strong so as to support the family, my advice to you is to get married.

To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects
