First you need to take a total rest for few days and apply hot water bag over the back region and after few days rest and relieve pain you can consult to physiotherapist for the exercises. Do the exercises regularly suggested by physiotherapist for at least 6 months (rehabilitation) to avoid reoccurrence of the same problem.

I have done ACL Reconstruction surgery before 40, days ago. Now I am start my job. But problem is that my work place in first floor about 28 steps. And lift not available. And whole day I am 4 time use steps. Can I continue or any problem for use steps.

You need to strengthen your knee muscles powerfully so it can be helping in weight bearing so do continue with your knee rehab. Exercises for at least six months.

This is happens due to hormonal imbalance so I would suggest you to make some life style changes which will be beneficial for you to control your hips portion and weight management.

Is shoulder dislocation require surgery? Allopathic surgeons have suggested it. Suffer the problem since 15 yrs. Can not move right hand straight upward. If not no problem. Any other remedy or exercise. Dislocation happen only if I move my right hand straight upward. Feel uneasy in right shoulder if carry weights. At this age l am afraid of operation.

Dear sir, If you are having recurrent dislocation and its disturbing your life style everyday then I may suggest go for surgery but if you have not frequent problem then don't go for it at this age do some shoulder muscle strengthening exercises at home Thank you.

Dear sir, You must do suggested exercises because majority of the Back pain is due to faulty posture, it means faulty posture occurs due to muscle imbalance in the back and daily exercises will maintain the muscle balancing and provide you a better posture so you can live active life style daily so thats why I suggest do daily recommended exercise to live pain free life.

From last few months I am suffering from joints pain and swelling my Dr. said that it's becoz of aamvat. And said to check my Ra factor. I have done my Ra factor test it's 9.4. Dear lybrate-user, I would suggest you to apply hot water bag to the swollen and painful joints, If small joints like hand and foots are involved then Do hot water fermentation over joints and do mobility exercises for all joints. It will help you to improve your condition.

First avoid long time sitting posture do back extension exercise (bhujanagasan) twice a day in morning and at bed time do knee to chest exercise touch your toes in sitting posture pelvic bridging exercise avoid heavy weight lifting avoid forward bending.

First alwyas do warm up before running in order to prevent the muscular injuries use knee cap while walking and running, do some knee mobility exercise before walking, jogging or running apply ice pack over the affected knee after running.

I would like to suggest you to modified your life style as well as work place as most of the back pain and neck pain occurs becuase of fail to follow the ergonomics so modified your work place accoding to the ergonomics and also avoid to sit for a longer time. Take a move every hour or two hour so it will reduced the stress on back muscles as well as neck muscles and do regualarly neck and back exercise then also it will not relieve and you getting stiffness in spine as well as night ache then I suggest you to do the blood report of hla-b27.

Dear lybrate-user I suggest you to do heat fermentation twicw a day and avoid forward bending and do bhujanagasan (cobra pose) regularly while getting up in morning and when go to bed in evening avoid long time sitting posture.

I suggest to use kinesiology tape while you are playing cricket (bowling) so it will reduced the extra load on the muscles but k-tape is done only by physiotherapist so consult the sports physio for that near by your location.

Hello sir, I agreed with the lybrate-user. Kalyani's advice but I want to add one more important point in that and thats 1) try to avoid long standing position as much as possible 2) use the compession stockings 3) use the pneumetic compressive therapy if available at your near by physio centre.

Main cuase for the back pain after 50 years of age is due to degenrative changes I the spine treatment:- use hot water bag / heating pad for 20-25 min. After that do some back extension exercises like bhujangasan (half cobra pose) and pelvic bridging exercises 10 sec hold and 3 sets of 10rep. Twice a day, avoid forward bending, sitting position for long time and sitting without back support.
