Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy.

After brushing your teeth you can drink 1 glass of milk to start with. If you do not like plain milk, then you add a flavour you like .Complan, Bournvita etc. This adds to the nutritive value of your intake before you start yoga.

Dear sir, This is jaishankar from chennai, I have knee pain for the last 6 months. When I walk in the stairs of my house or in the railway stations I can go fast and I didn't get any pain but now if I walk on the stairs or stations I will walk step by step and every 10/15 steps I should have a knee pain. Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. Dear lybrateuser, -There is not much difference between whisky & vodka as both contain about the same amount of alcohol -once a week is fine if taken in limits, if you have more quantity(binging) then it is harmful for the body, preferably avoid taking it as it usually increases the craving for more over sometime & then the person can't resist taking increased quantity.

Yoga is a science, which shifts one from sympathetic to parasympathetic mode. It is a combination of hatha yoga (asanas or postures), breathing and meditation. Meditation means concentrating on the object of concentration and giving preference to the object of concentration over thoughts. Mindfulness meditation, breathing awareness can shift from sympathetic to parasympathetic mode.

Breathing exercises in yoga can be both slow & deep breathing and fast breathing. Kapalbhati and bhastrika are fast breathing exercises.

In modern system of medicine, every movement in an exercise is accompanied by the opposite movement. The same is true for yoga. For every movement, there is a reverse movement.

Often when patients come to us for consultation or follow up, they ask if it is safe for them to do yoga. Yes, patients can do yoga but they should do it under the guidance of a trained yoga instructor. Teaching yoga is the job of an expert. In the hands of an untrained person, yoga may be risky. Also, it is important that patients observe specific precautions pertaining to their illness while doing yoga. They should practice yoga slowly and take care to not overdo any asana and avoid some postures that may aggravate their health problems

Here are some precautions, which patients should follow while doing yoga:
Yoga is not included as an aerobic exercise.
Fast breathing exercises stimulate the sympathetic system. Slow breathing stimulates the parasympathetic system. Therefore, cardiac clearance needs to be taken for all breathing exercises.
In three situations in hatha yoga (headstand, handstand, shoulderstand), the total body weight is put on head, wrist and shoulder. This requires medical clearance, especially for heart patients.
When you get up from a sitting position, nine times weight is put on the knees. Hence, patients of osteoarthritis should avoid sitting down, low height bed or chair or indian toilets. Yoga may prevent osteoarthritis, but once developed, hatha yoga practices need to be modified.
The lotus position, forward and backward bends need orthopedic clearance in selected patients.
Forward spine exercises may require orthopedic clearance in selected cases as they may precipitate sciatica, if done incorrectly.
Painful and/or difficult yoga postures should be avoided
Patients with cervical disc disease, glaucoma should avoid doing inversion postures (head stand, shoulder stand).
In case of worsening pain or paresthesia, stop and consult a doctor.

The only other way to fight diabetes is through weight loss. Worldwide, bariatric surgery has proven that weight loss is vital to diabetic reversal (a state where you are euglycemic without the need of any oral medication or insulin. A systematic review and meta-analysis of the english literature reported complete resolution of type 2 diabetes (defined as discontinuation of all diabetes-related medications and blood glucose levels within the normal range) in 78.1% of cases. But, there are two problems in this, first of all bariatric surgery is still very expensive in india (starts from rs 3-4 lakhs and above) secondly, it is not known clearly that all the benefits of post - bariatric surgery on diabetes reversal is entirely due to weight loss alone. On the other hand, dietary restriction and exercise (also known as lifestyle modification) can also theoretically cause weight loss and lead to diabetic reversal and has been tried world over. Protein has to be broken down after absorption digestion for 2 hrs then get absorbed and then circulated to muscles where after an exercise these get into muscle cells by help or insulin other enzymes and hormones.
