Avoid junk food and oily foods always drink water before the meal and after half hour not between the meal. Take light diet and more fruits in diet. Take a medium glass and fill it with hot water. Hi - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. sounds like a sprain of your Achilles tendon (it might be even a partial tear). ice pack and rest and a heel cushion helps. if the pain doesnt subside then you should see a local ortho surgeon

Hi. I am going through a phase where in a feel extremely week everyday. As if there is no strength no power what so ever in my hands and legs or in the entire body fir that matter. I know that my diet is not that great but it is not that bad either. So please help and suggest.

Dear, the most common causes of weakness are * anemia * metabolic disorder (diabetes, hypothyroidism) * breathing problems (asthma, sinusitis) *digestion problems (diarrhea, gestric ulcers) * cervical spondylosis first check out your haemoglobin (hb), if your hb is low, then eat a lot of green vehetables and iron rich foods like apple, guava, sapotas (cheeku, beet root and oranges. Takeiron suppliments for increase in hb. If your hb level is normal then your all parts of body get adequate level of oxygen. 2. Take deep breaths atleast for 10-15 minutes twice a day. 3. Check out the blood sugar fasting in every 6 months. If blood sugar level, then take proper medicines for high sugar level. 4. In thyroid disorder, there is a feeling of weakness and tiredness. Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. Get your vision tested and wear glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 18 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

The Magic Combination of Honey and Cinnamon.

For centuries, the delicious combination of honey and cinnamon is considered to be truly healing and beneficial. In fact, ancient people believed that it is an elixir of health and youth. It is scientifically proven that it has regenerative effects on the whole organism, in same time enhancing the body resistance to various diseases.
Honey , which is not in vain called “food of the gods”, together with cinnamon, which is one of the most exotic spices in the world, are certainly very useful when combined with other ingredients as well, but they have strongest healing properties when are used together. Here are part of the ways how you can use honey and cinnamon as well as different diseases which can easily be cured with this fantastic combination.

Retaining and helping the body to stay vital

Everyone wants to find the magic potion that will maintain them young, but few of us have guessed that it really exists. Tea from honey and cinnamon has strong regenerative properties that keep the body vital. For this potion, you need 4 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 3 cups of water and they have to be boiled together. It is best first to boil the water and the cinnamon, and when the liquid cools, add honey so it won’t lose its nutritional properties. This liquid should be drunk during the day and certainly needs regular drinking to feel the results.

Strengthens the immunity

Reducing Cholesterol

This recipe is well known and it helps in fighting the bad cholesterol. You need 4 deciliters tea in which, after cooling, you’ll put 3 teaspoons of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of honey and mix them well. In this way prepared liquid consume it three times a day. The results are amazing.

Gastric and bone cancer
For people who are struggling with stomach cancer and bone cancer, there is a combination that helps to win the battle with this disease easily. It is necessary to take 1 tablespoon honey, 1 small spoon cinnamon three times a day for a month.


Inflammation of the joints (arthritis)

For this inflammation there are two ways that honey and cinnamon can be used. First, for the direct treatment of painful spots you should mix 1 tablespoon honey with 2 tablespoons warm water, to which is added 1 small spoon cinnamon. It makes a paste that is applied on the infected areas. As a potion against arthritis, use a combination of 1 cup of hot water with 2 tablespoons of honey and a little bit cinnamon. Drink twice a day, in the morning and in the evening before bedtime. Be persistent, because it is more than once proven that this potion really helps patients suffering from arthritis.

Against hair loss

Did you have a long struggle with hair loss, but none of the shampoos or treatments helped? Maybe you should try natural ways to help yourself. In hot olive oil add 1 tablespoon honey and a small spoon cinnamon. The amount of oil varies so that the end result should be a thick paste. Apply this paste on the hair roots with massage and leave to act for15 minutes. Use it regularly and be astonished by your strong and healthy hair.

Acne and pimples

Mix 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, to obtain a paste that is applied on the acnes and the pimples every night before going to bed. The results are visible after only two weeks regular use.

Reducing weight

It is known widely that this magical combination helps in reducing your weight, thereby not allowing fat to be deposited on your body in the same time cleaning it out of toxins. It is necessary to boil 1 cup of water with half teaspoon of cinnamon. When the liquid is cool enough, after approximately half an hour, add 1 tablespoon honey. Drink half of the liquid before going to bed, and the rest in the morning, half an hour before breakfast.

Follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knees regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamind. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Dear, it's always good to consume cooked egg instead of raw. Your body denatures the protein anyway, so cooking is good. It allows you to absorb more protein, and there's less risk of salmonella.
