Causes and Treatments For Urinary Infection

Urinary infection is one widespread disorder that most of the human beings face in the later stages of their lives. The infection is experienced mostly by half of the women and according to statistical data, it has been noted that about 40% of women and 12% of men get infected with urinary infection. Women who are sexually active have more possibilities to get this infection. It is an infection suffered by many people and which is more vulnerable to children and women.

The symptoms that are identified for a person with urinary infection are frequent urination and burning sensation at the time of passing urine. In certain cases, women even experience leaking of urine while sleeping. It is advised not to take this condition casually as it can lead to further complications, and medications need to be taken to reduce the discomfort caused.

Main Causes of Urinary Infection
1. The main reason for urinary infection is the bacterium that moves from the urinary duct to the urinary bladder.
2. The other main reasons for urinary tract infection are due to sexual intercourse, pregnancy and diabetes.
3. There are chances to get urinary infection if a person has sex with many partners.
4. In most women urinary infection is caused due to hormonal imbalance after menopause.
5. Women should not hold back the urge for urinating frequently, as it can weaken the bladder and makes it prone to urinary infection.

Treatment for Urinary Infection
There are simple and helpful home remedies that can be used for the treatment of urinary infection and these include
1. It is very necessary to drink a lot of water, as it would help flush the bacteria from the bladder that causes the infection. It is advisable to drink at least 80 ounces of water on a daily basis.
2. It is advisable to eat foods rich in Vitamin C as they are helpful in making the urine more acidic, and it inhibits further growth of the bacterium in the urinary tract.
3. It is very important that spicy foods and bladder irritants like caffeine, carbonated drinks and artificial sweeteners be cut from the diet to reduce the irritation.
4. It is very important to include healthy foods in your diet, and that are high on fiber carbohydrates and helpful in digestive health of your body.
5. Herbal remedies can be opted for treatment of urinary tract infection, and the leaves of bearberry are used for this purpose.
6. Most importantly, it is very necessary to adopt healthier habits and quit smoking. Women should wear loose clothing and make use of personal hygiene products that are free from any fragrance.

as per your height your weight should be 60 Kg. for weight loss: 1. have small frequent meals at regular intervals instead of few large ones 2. eat slowly chewing your food well 3. drink 3 litres water daily 4. avoid junk/ processed/ fried/ sugary/ ready to eat foods, soft & hard & enrgy drinks, glucose 5. replace simple carbs- potato, sugar, maida, white rice, noodles, biscuit, white bread, cake with complex carbs- whole grains (atta, dalia, suji, bajra, oats, barley, brown rice, atta bread), whole legumes (sprouts, rajma, soyabean), whole fruits, vegetables, nuts, oilseeds. 6. exercise daily for 1 hr & walk instead of hiring transport

Even during breast feeding have lots of fruits and vegetables. Avoid maids based items and fried stuff. If you had a normal delivery then you can start walking and exerting but if it was a caesarean operation then start moderate walking after 3 months.

Hi lybrate-user deposition of fat at your belly 1. Avoid using direct and simple sugars. Try to include complex carbs in your diet so the digestion process will take some time to work to convert it into glucose. 2. Avoid junk foods such as pizza, burger, french fries and alike food stuffs. 3. Avoid processed foods. 4. Avoid sodas. 5. Restrict down the intake of artificial sweeteners. Instead you can crab on natural sugars, such as stevia. 6. Include protein of good biological value. 7. Add insoluble and soluble fiber in your diet. 8. Have plenty of cold water. 9. Have 2 portions of fruits and salads daily. 10. Inclusion of omega family fatty acids and especially omega 3 and omega 6 11. One must rotate the oil used for cooking purposes and should not stick to one oil product. One must not change the brand but the source of the oil like palm oil, almond oil, coconut oil, soy oil, sesame oil, corn oil, groundnut oil, olive oil etc. 12. Citrus fruits must also be taken in proportions. 13. Add almonds to your diet. 14. Have coconut water once a day. 15. Eat at regular intervals.

Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes daily. Take lukewarm water with lemon in the morning. Take salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food and oily food. Take small and frequent meals.

Never drink right after running, give a gap of 30 to 45 minutes, you can only drink 1 or 2 sip if its badly required in an emergency.

Hello, Doing exercises regularly will not only cut down your belly fat, but also you will get a body in good shape and you will be get rid of many diseases related to it! Following exercises will help you to achieve this if you don’t have any other medical condition: 1.The Plank - Lie down on your tummy and then come on your palms and toes.Lift the knees off the floor. Draw your tummy muscles up and breathe deeply into the side and back of the rib cage. Aim to hold the pose for 30 seconds. 2.Static Tiger pose - Place your hands and knees on the floor. This is the starting position. Now lift up one leg and extend the opposite arm. Hold this Static Tiger Pose for 3 deep breaths. Come back to the starting position and swap sides, extending arm and opposite leg. You can look down towards the mat to keep the spine in line. This exercise will build core strength. 3.Sitting Spinal Twist - Sit on the floor and cross your legs. Place one hand next to your hip and the other on the knee. Rotate the spine and look over one shoulder into a Sitting Spinal Twist. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. Swap sides, rotating and looking over the shoulder. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. 4.Stomach Crunches - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your hands on your thighs, across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your knees until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 stomach crunches. 5.Oblique Crunch - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Roll your knees to one side down to the floor. Place your hands across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your hips until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 oblique crunches and repeat on the opposite side. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Dear, you will definitely get more stamina by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. * very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time * drink atleast 2 litres of water daily. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. Then slowly walk fast and slowly start running. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can do surya namaskar yogasan daily to improve your stamina under the guidance of yoga expert.

Dear diabetes control is governed by following the right diabetic diet. What to eat and what not to eat is important for diabetes control and diabetes cure or diabetes reversal. Even if you are pre-diabetic or borderline diabetic, or diabetes is part of your family, it is important to follow a diabetic diet to prevent diabetes. A diabetes diet should be high on fibre, must contain milk without cream, buttermilk, fresh seasonal fruits, green vegetables, etc. But remember to consume these components in moderation. Diabetes diet for indians should have the ratio of 60: 20: 20 for carbs, fats and proteins. Per day calorie intake should be between 1, 500-1, 800 calories with a proportion of 60: 20: 20 between carbohydrates, fats and proteins, respectively. A diabetes diet should" have at least two seasonal fruits and three vegetables in a diet plan" though dry fruits may seem like a healthy snack, it is not a good option for diabetics, as the fructose can spike your sugar level. Go for fresh fruits rather than dry fruits for diabetes control (but there are some restrictions.). But you can still opt for nuts as a healthy snack. Few tips. - one teaspoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes. - drink tomato juice with salt and pepper every morning on an empty stomach. - intake of 6 almonds (soaked overnight) is also helpful in keeping a check on diabetes. Always remember diabetic dietary advice is highly personal. No two people can have the same advice. So take expert advice. Thank you.

Hi gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must.
