Hello I am 33 years old and weigh around 159 kgs. I am over weight. I drink occasionally. I mostly prefer to eat chicken hardly eat fish meat or vegetables. I have a sitting job and in addition I drive everyday for 3 4 hrs. I have started recently working out light weight stretches and all. I never was hospitalized for any kind of sickness. And besides pain in my joints wrist and feet I have never suffered from any illnesses. Wanted to ask you doctor I get severe pain in my joints be it wrists or legs special toe area. They come and go. I normally have dolo 650 mg for 3 4 days and the pain goes away but this time its a different story all together mostly I get pain in my left feet but this time its paining continuously from last 2 weeks in my right feet. I went to doctor and he prescribed me medicines specially pain killers and also got injected with dynapar twice in 3 days as per as doctor instruction still the pain keeps coming back and grows till its unbreakable. Mostly I am have problem in sleeping as my leg is paining very badly during the morning hours of sleep. My doctor has told me to consult a hematologist so Kindly sir help me out and suggest me what to do? Also let me know is it a serious issue. I have family history of gout and arthritis. Let me know thats the exact issue. I would highly appreciate it sir. My white cell count is high. Also is you would be kind enough to send me medicine prescription.

Requires detailed investigation and examination Presently investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d xray of the affected part. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hi I used to be an athlete but since 2 years when I got married I couldn't wakeup early like before 6a. M.and feel like I became lazy now and I am losing my fitness day by day. Supplements will not help you regain your old routine but a disciplined schedule will. Try to induce a lil more willpower. Also to replenish energy, have energy dense food. Eat more protein and fruits and vegetables.

Hello. For proper diet plan you can consult me on my private Lybrate account. But here are some tips for reducing body fat. Both things are important for reducing body fat. 1st its workout and 2nd its diet plan. Drink warm water with lemon and honey early in the morning. Maximum intake of water and green tea. Include green vegetables and fruits in your diet. Dinner it should be light maximum till 8 pm. Avoid fatty refined sugary food.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

At age 50,one must drink on an average one Drink /Day.Th consumption of this drink should be very slow ending anywhere between 15-45 Minutes One drink is equal to one of the following:  250 ML can or bottle of regular beer  100 ML can or bottle of malt liquor  60 ML glass of red or white wine 30 ML glass of hard liquor (spirits) like gin, vodka, or whiskey. Although tolerance effect of consuming alcohol remains almost same in age group 50-65 year if factors remain sam but loneliness, boredom, anxiety, or depression, In fact, depression in older adults leads to decreased tolerance but increased diverion towards alcohol just causing health issues.

lybrate-user, Its Safe if it is done by some expert/doctor by using sterile instruments. It should not be done by Pehelwaan clinics open in the Muhallahs. Hijama is a sunna that carries rewards besides health benefits. It should not be done frequently if you are healthy.

Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Dear Lybrate user, If you want to gain weight take Alfafa tonic thrice a day for one Month with mango shake and banana shake daily and butter sugar paste atleast 40 grams daily for two months. Avoid overeating.

Do these to build muscle as well as to put on weight (1) exercises like yoga, skipping, swimming, push ups, sit ups, squats, etc (2) eat more foods more often (3) drink milk or milk shake (4) use weight gainer nutritional supplement not medicine (5) eat more fruits, vegetables, fish, egg, lean meat, peanuts, almond, ground nuts, cottage cheese, whole grain, wheat etc (6) add cream with tea/coffee/milk (7) avoid fast foods, junk foods, processed foods etc (8) take quality sleep and stay stress free. Hye. Summer can be dehydrating and draining for the body. This can reduce appetite for foods. A healthy and balanced diet is essential, especially in the summer. The summer heat deprives our body of all the energy. Excessive perspiration in summer results in dehydration. Rehydration is essential irrespective of the activity levels and thirst pangs. Liquids at very cold temperatures should be avoided. Increased consumption of very cold liquids, results in the constriction of the blood vessels. This in turn reduces the loss of heat which is essential in summers. Holy basil seeds/ tulsi seeds added to water or fruit juices proves an effective cooling drink for the summers. Soft drinks contain added sugar, preservatives and colors. Therefore fresh fruit juices without added sugar are preferred in summers. Fried foods, such as french fries, potato patties, chips, samosa, wada pav should be restricted thereby reducing the thermal effect of fat. A light and healthy meal will make you feel comfortable. Avoid very spicy foods. Whole fresh fruits supply a good amount of water, in addition to minerals and vitamins. A bountiful supply of vegetables and fresh fruits are beneficial. Lemon juice, barley water, butter milk and tender coconut water are the best sources of hydration.

Avoid fatty, junk,bakery foods. Avoid bread and maida foods. Drink warm water often. Take hot gruels processed with ginger and pepper. Eat different kind of fruits everyday. Practice yoga and pranayama which increase your appetite. Tab chitraka vati 1-0-1 before meals for 10 days. Madiphala rasayana 1tsp twice before meals.

Yes you can have a normal delivery provided reason for operation was not anatomical, your doctor will have to monitor you all through labor process lasting about 12 hours, take help of medicines to augment labor pains, and it will be a team work of doctor, nurses, baby doctor, by 1 and half years internal stitches are healed well and there is no risk of them breaking during labor pains.
