Try eatng lots of garlic. If you cant have it get it homeopathically allium sativum,(biochemic) nat phos. Avoid all types of fats and red meat. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication. Consult me in private.

High blood presure during pregnancy may lead to preeclampsia-----------it is a disorder of pregnancy characterized by high blood pressure and a large amount of protein in the urine in the third trimester of pregnancy and gets worse over time. In severe disease there may be red blood cell breakdown, a low blood platelet count and can effect liver and kidney function, shortness of breath due to fluid in the lungs, or visual disturbances. If left untreated, it may result in seizures and then it will be known as eclampsia--------risk factors for preeclampsia include: obesity, prior hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. It is also more frequent in a woman's first pregnancy and if she is carrying twins. The underlying mechanism involves abnormal formation of blood vessels in the placenta amongst other factors.---------------------- the exact cause of preeclampsia is unknown. It occurs in about 3 to 7% of all pregnancies. But a few of the cause can be ------ 1. Autoimmune disorders----------- 2. Blood vessel problems-------- 3. Your diet--------- 4. Your genes------------- risk factors include:-------------------- 1. First pregnancy------------ 2. Any past history of preeclampsia------------ 3. Multiple pregnancy (twins or more)--------- 4. Family history of preeclampsia------------- 5. Obesity----------------- 6. My husband suffering a high blood pressure problem please suggest me what I do for his health?

My husband suffering a high blood pressure problem please suggest me what I do for his health?
Dear, *high blood pressure is a common disease in which blood flows through blood vessels (arteries) at higher than normal pressures. *chew 2-3 raw garlic cloves everyday, garlic slows down the pulse rate and smoothens the heart's rhythm. *nutrition, exercise, breathing exercises (pranayama), yoga, meditation, behavioral modification along with various herbs and minerals are prescribed. *ayurvedic diet for hypertension: avoid meat, eggs and salt, reduce protein intake, follow the following vegetarian diet: vegetables: garlic, lemon, parsley, fruits: indian gooseberry, grape fruuit, watermelon, dairy: milk, cottage cheese, clarified butter. Limit sodium in the diet. Cigarette smokers tend to have high blood pressure. Nicotine increases the resting heart rate and increases the release of the adrenaline correct diet and control weight. One important thing to do is lose any excess amount of body fat. One of the good reasons to be slim (lean) is to keep your blood pressure low, losing body fat will lower the pressure *life style: *regular exercise is one of the best ways to lower blood pressure. Exercise has to be of right kind. A good exercise programme, particularly endurance exercises such as jogging or athletics, will cause the peripheral resistance to decrease. Exercise helps to eliminate body fat, lower total cholesterol and raise hdl cholesterol that prevents fatty - cholesterol deposits. According to ayurveda exercise improves the body, depletes excess fats, brings lightness of the body. *yoga and breath therapy, *meditating and practicing breathing exercises regularly are essential to establishing a new relaxation response in place of the hypertensive reflex to stress.

Weakness is the most probable reason for such complaints in your age. Have meals regularly, do not stay empty stomach for long, in case of acidity or gas problem, give the complete information. Have cocconut, apple, pine apple, oranges, almonds, rasins, milk, egg etc. If it is a regular thing then get yourself checked with a doctor.

Hello, the drug combination you are on is optimum (good) and if your blood pressure is controlled ie. Less than 135 systolic and 85 diastolic than no change on medication required. However because you are hypertensive for so long we should screen for end organ damage as that should be our primary aim of preventing it. Some test fundus examination for hypertensive changes in retina urine micro albumin and s creatinine for kidney treadmill stress test and 2 d exho cardiography for heart are some basic test I suggest you do for optimum management.

My mom is a diabetic and high bp patient what medicine should I give her in fever? Please advise.

MBBS, MD - Community Medicine
General Physician, Jaipur
My mom is a diabetic and high bp patient what medicine should I give her in fever? Please advise.
Hi, Diabetes and hypertension have nothing to do with fever. Fever may be simple/ self-limiting viral infection, or it may a symptom some serious illness like typhoid/ malaria/ Dengue/ TB or many more like that. It is decided by symptoms provided by you, and a battery of investigations. But short term fever is most likely viral fever. Therefore, follow the advice and consult doctor with detail symptoms. 1. Take rest for 1-2 days. Wear light and cotton cloths, it helps in cooling of body. 2. Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg (as and when required; after food) for fever (more than 99 F) for 3 days. Maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hours can be taken in a day. 3. If fever persists, do cold sponging (with cold water even ice water if needed) to lower down temperature. 4. Drink plenty of fluids. 5. Take adequate rest and proper sleep. Going to work, working out may just make you feel worse as the extra action adds stress to your body. Inadequate sleep decreases immunity of body, which causes worsening of illness. 6. Take proper diet preferably homemade like dalia, khichdi, rice, dahl, chapatti, vegetable soups or steamed veggies. 7. This is season of dengue, therefore, if you have high grade fever, and body ache, then have Platlet Count from nearby Laboratory. Consult again if symptoms persist or worsen. ***Get Well Soon*** “Cold sponging is the best treatment if fever is uncontrolled.”
