Hello, lv remain present, means that one portion of the heart wall is not contracting adequately, which is suggestive of a possible block in one of your arteries which may have resulted in silent heart attack, though as the pumping of the heart is near normal it would have been an minor event. Based on the reports (however I would like to review ecg and complete echo report) furthur investigation for evaluation of your heart is strongly recommended.

What is the risk of having low BP?

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist,
Low blood pressure (hypotension) can occur in anyone, though certain types of low blood pressure are more common depending on your age or other factors: Age. Drops in blood pressure on standing or after eating occur primarily in adults older than 65. Orthostatic, or postural, hypotension happens after standing up, while postprandial hypotension happens after eating a meal. Neurally mediated hypotension happens as a result of a miscommunication between the brain and heart. It primarily affects children and younger adults. Medications. People who take certain medications, such as high blood pressure medications like alpha blockers, have a greater risk of low blood pressure. Certain diseases. Parkinson's disease, diabetes and some heart conditions put you at a greater risk of developing low blood pressure.

Most common risk factors are family history, smoking, alcohol, high cholesterol, after 40, diabetes, bp etc. Some time reccurent central or radiating type of chest pain, breathlessness on exertion, swelling in the limbs are symtoms. Somtimes asymptomatic also. Simple test like ecg in opd level can provide information about heart problems along with risk factor assessment like blood tests like sugar and cholesterol.

Cholestrol HDL low se kya problem hoti hai?

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist,
Cholestrol HDL low se kya problem hoti hai?
Hello dear patient. High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style . Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

My friend is smoking for the last 7 years and sometimes he is having pain near the right chest. Is that something to ...
If it is the lungs, there may be some concern. Even if it not concerned with the smoking, giving up is the best solution. Smoking has no benefits at all, period. So do not wait for some problem to crop up before you want to quit. It is not good and therefore quitting is the best solution.

I am suffering from high BP so how I control it?

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian (RD), PGDD, Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (B.U.M.S), General Physician
Dietitian/Nutritionist,
I am suffering from high BP so how I control it?
Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. Plenty of fluids orally. I suggest brisk walking for 40 mins, 5 days a week. Remain stress free as much as possible. Take your medicines regularly. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.
