First get you self checked thoroughly. Low blood pressure can suggest some heart disease. In diet, add 3 litres of water, 600 ml of lemon water with salt, 200 g. of fruits and some 20 g of chocolates ( yes, chocolates for magnesium).

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. His hemoglobin is 18.5 and triglycerides is 900. What would you suggest? Why is it something serious.

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine, DM - Cardiology, Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS - Physician )
Cardiologist, Delhi
His hemoglobin is 18.5 and triglycerides is 900. What would you suggest? Why is it something serious.
Both hemoglobin and triglycerides are high. Patient requires a detailed evaluation to find out what may be causing this followed by treatment. It will be best to consult a haematologist for the high hemoglobin and a cardiologist for high triglyceride evaluation. Without proper evaluation it will be difficult to say what is the problem and if it is serious.

Take salt restricted diet. Fried salt restriction should be 1800 mg-2750 mg per day. Do not take added salt because most of your vegetables contain sodium already in it. Avoid mustard oil completely. Take sunflower or rice bran oil daily. Avoid red meat and big fishes completely.

Sometime feeling very week and not easily walk. Sometime feel palpitation. Always pressure high and not steady.
Very common problem, usually some minor ailment. Ample Rest, balanced diet, and if not better, meet a Dr. Measure BP monthly on fixed date, and always after resting for 10 mins. Any BP less than 145 is ok, it varies for everybody and that is normal.
