Hello this may be due to dryness you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eye drop like flogel this is a provisional diagnosis. Consult your ophthalmologist for detailed examination.

I always suffer from constipation Though eating well and taking enough water Any other reason for this? Some disease?

MD, Fellowship in Intergrative Medicine, MBBS

I always suffer from constipation
Though eating well and taking enough water
Any other reason for this?
Some disease?
Constipation could be due to several causes like inadequate fluids / fibre / sedentary job/ medications / thyroid disease to name a few and solve your problem permanently You have to treat the root cause and not the symptoms. Please change your diet and lifestyle Stop all dairy products Cut down animal proteins Eat plant based diet. Don’t skip meals. Reduce oily and spicy food Keep moving for your bowels to move. Exercise daily Increase fluid intake according to your weight and level of activity. Increase fiber intake- This is the general advice for specific advice you have to do comprehensive lab testingPlease get comprehensive lab testing including inflammatory profile, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and complete Thyroid panel Detailed medical, dietary, occupational ,social, family, and environmental history taking is important to find the root cause. Never treat symptoms alone You will be putting a band aid only- You need a permanent fix by finding the root cause and treating it. So please wake up and take personal responsibility for your own health Get the Right tests done, so that you do not get bad surprises later. Get the Right Advice from the Right doctor who takes a detailed history and educates you before medicating you.

I am very much addicted to Masturbation & I want to leave it. Please suggest me how to do it.

MD - Psychiatry
Psychiatrist, Chennai
I am very much addicted to Masturbation & I want to leave it. Please suggest me how to do it.
Masturbation is a very healthy form of sexual outlet, do not feel guilty about it. Once or twice a day is very much normal. Nearly 99% of men and more than 60% of women masturbate. It starts from adolescence and goes on in some people even till death. The pleasure (orgasm) from masturbation is said to be unique from sexual intercourse. In men, most of the liquid contains only water and some fructose and hormones. Hence it does not drain your energy. Many equate masturbation/ seminal fluid loss to lack of energy, impotency and so on. Many quacks, religious heads and pseudo healers also propagate the idea that masturbation is a disorder/ and wrongful behaviour and instil fear on the mind of innocent men and women (we can see posters in train and bus stand, offering help for this behaviour). Consult a psychiatrist, if you have excessive masturbation guilt or compulsive masturbation. Compulsive masturbation is when a person continues with frequent masturbation neglecting his/ her other work like education, job or social obligations. In fact masturbation reduces the sexual tension and helps focus on task at hand better.
