Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly see a physician for further management

Your technique may need modification. Pinch the skin, introduce the needle perpendicularly, not at an angle. After you have injected the insulin, count to 10 to allow some time. Then remove the needle and do nothing to the injection site. You can always use pen device to ensure consisted delivery of insulin with negligible discomfort.

Know Everything About Coccydynia - Tailbone Pain!

The back bone or spine is made of a series of bones extending all the way from the neck (cervical) to the tail (coccyx). These joints, like others, are prone to inflammation, sprain and strain, some more than the others. The coccyx in particular is highly prone to inflammation and can lead to localized pain, which is very typical, with the pain in the tailbone. This is known as coccydynia. Read on to know more about this common condition.

What is Coccydynia?

  1. Literally, coccydynia translates to tailbone pain.
  2. It is characterized by a sharp, localized pain between the buttocks in the tail bone.
  3. It is often caused by injury to the pelvic area or the tail bone.
  4. Sitting and/or leaning against the buttocks make it worse.
  5. Pregnancy, when the additional hormones relax on the pelvic floor, also leads to increased pain of the tailbone.

Diagnosis: The pain can be easily confused with other conditions like sciatica, fractured tailbone, tailbone infections like shingles, etc. However, for a trained medical person, the symptoms of tenderness and pain are quite diagnostic. Pilonidal sinus, fistula, pudendal Neuralgia is also same as Coccydynia and show same symptoms. 

 Management:

  1. If there is a rash or inflammation, it needs to be evaluated further for additional problems.
  2. Where possible, rest completely for a short period of time till the acute phase of pain subsides.
  3. In case of injury, ensure there is no repeat injury to the same area.
  4. Pain medications are used to relieve pain, where it is severe and intolerable.
  5. In severe cases, cortisone injection may be given in the doctor’s office. In addition to pain relief, it may even take care of the underlying problem per se.
  6. Avoid sitting for prolonged periods where possible.
  7. After the acute phase is over, when sitting for prolonged periods, sufficient padding is advised. This could be in the form of pillows or padded seats.
  8. Sleeping on the sides is difficult, so sleep straight. If required, take a pillow in the middle.
  9. Physiotherapy is also helpful in some people who have repeat attacks. This helps in pain management and controlling acute phases. There are specific tailbone stretches, which should be done under supervision.
  10. Walking is one of the many effective ways to keep the tailbone “unlocked”, which helps in getting rid of the pain and avoiding spasms of the muscles around the tailbone.
  11. Best internal manipulation and pain management can be done with Coccyx exercise.

The time taken for healing of the tailbone depends on whether it is a simple bruise or a severe one. The former would heal completely in about four weeks, while the latter will take about 12 weeks. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a physiotherapist.

Eating the right food at the right time is essential to in order to complete your fitness goal. While there exist many theories on the importance of workout meal, there are some simple rules which when followed can fetch great results. The right amount of nutrition pre and post workout can go a long way in ensuring that the body responds well to the stress.

Why is nutrient timing an important component of the exercise regime?
Consider your body as a machine, it is imperative that a well-maintained machine with the right fuel at the right time will have more longevity compared to others. The same holds true for the body as well. To maximize the output of the gym, it is necessary to consume the right nutrients for the body. A right meal just before the gym session can result in a great workout session. This, in turn, means an inch closer to the fitness goal. Similarly, the post workout meal ensures that muscles are adequately refueled and the blood sugar level is well maintained. Another advantage of the right pre and post workout meal is the fact that it helps the body to work out for a longer duration.

Know the carbohydrate
Instead of blindly choosing an energy drink, it makes sense to choose the right carbohydrate. There are 2 types of carbohydrate- simple and complex. Eventually, all carbohydrates are broken down into simple carbohydrates. Both have their own role to play. As per various studies, it has been proved that the best time to consume complex carbohydrate such as brown rice, oats and brown grains is before a couple of hours of the workout session. It ensures that the body is provided with a gradual supply of energy throughout the session. After a workout session, much of the glycogen gets depleted from the muscles. It is, therefore, essential to consume simple carbohydrate after a gym session. It readily supplies instant energy and carb to the muscles. Some good source of simple carbohydrate includes sugar, candy bar, sweet bread, fruits etc.

The next meal after workout
Post workout, the simple carbohydrate gets absorbed by the body way too fast. It is, therefore, necessary to have a good meal couple of hours after the workout session. Some good to consume food include green veggies, fruit salad etc. It helps in suppressing the appetite and make a person feel full.

What should be the protein count?
While there are many recommendations out there, a good way to determine the protein count is to consume 1.1 gm to 1.2 gm per kilogram of body weight. However, there is no magic number. 25-35 grams of protein needs to be consumed in every meal. Ideally, protein intake should happen a couple of hours before the workout and couple of hours after the workout session. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dietitian/Nutritionist.

There can be two possibilities of your issue. First possibility may be that you are suffering from uncontrolled blood sugar. If your blood sugars are uncontrolled then you will have frequent Urination which is a common complaint of all uncontrolled diabetics. The second possibility can be of prostrate problem. If you have prostrate trouble that will also lead to frequent urination. And other symptoms like urgency and nocturia (frequent urination in the night)

In stroke, most of benefit or recovery occurs within few hours. After that, minor improvement used to occur by exercise and physiotherapy, and it depends on case to case basis.

Hi Soak 10 almonds over night in water. On the next day, peel off the skin, and blend the almonds in a blender with 1 cup of cow hot milk (or crush them in hot cow milk) and add a little bit of saffron, ginger and cardamon to it.
