If you are trying for two years and not got pregnant then you need medical advise. Get your husband's semen analysis done. If your periods are regular then get your hsg test to see if your tubes are open. Go for an ultrasound pelvis and get blood tests done like fsh lh prolactin, amh, tsh.

Dear user. Problems with the cervix (such as infections) can cause pain during deep penetration. Problems with the uterus. These problems may include fibroids that can cause deep intercourse pain. Endometriosis etc can also cause pain. Extended foreplay sometimes help. Take care.

Hello doctor, I have a cyst in my left Overy that size is 62.5mm. Please tell me how should it remove.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology

Most ovarian cyst are functional and r related to hormonal changes in the body. If it is not causing severe pain then there is no need to remove it now. You should repeat the scan after 3rd menses are completed. If size remains the same then it can be removed with laparoscopy.

If a “normal” person is getting ready to walk through a doorway and someone walks up behind them and attempts to shove them through that doorway, most people will grab the sides of that doorway and it will be very difficult to get them through the doorway.   Even if they originally wanted to go through the doorway.   This is human nature.   But if you stand next to the individual and talk about your previous journey through the doorway, the individual will cross into the next room without a problem. This aspect of human nature is even more true with drug addicts and alcoholics that are in early recovery.

I has unprotected sex but I had already taken 4 I pills in 5 months due to some issues in my relationship and from this month my skin doctor gave me Acutret 20 I take it twice a week in morning and evening as prescribed. Will it prevent pregnancy? And if not what emergency contraceptive should I take? Unwanted 72 or I pill? Please reply doctor.

Your tabs are for acne problem. Those who are planning pregnancy should not take. For possible pregnancy it is one of those you have mentioned. However, please understand that these pills are for only emergency. It is not regular family planning method. For regular family planning there are many methods you can choose depending on your needs.

It is unlikely you will fall pregnant from this episode alone. However if you miss your periods then do a urine pregnancy test and see a Gynaecologist if positive.

Health Benefits of Eating Grains

Health Benefits of Eating Grains

Health Benefits of Eating Grains

Whole grains are an important part of healthy nutrition. There are numerous products available today which are either 100% whole grains or contain traces of various grains. However, not too many of us are aware of the health benefits that this particular food group has to offer. We all know that we should be consuming more of it, but do we know why?

Whole grains are beneficial because they are rich in protein, fiber, antioxidants, b-vitamins, and trace minerals (such as: iron, zinc, copper, magnesium). By consuming more of this product we can reduce the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and certain cancers. Consuming whole grains can also help you lose weight. Not only will your bowel movements improve but you will also promote the growth of healthy bacteria in the colon. Furthermore, replacing products such as white bread with whole grain products will help you feel lighter and more energized.

With all of these health benefits it is surprising that more people are not consuming the recommended daily dosage of this food group. It is recommended that the average adult eat at least three servings daily. Doing so will not only improve your health, but it will also improve your energy levels and your weight. Eating a healthy diet, exercising, and even taking all natural diet pills can help you attain quick weight loss. Eating whole grains can be a major part of achieving your ideal weight while at the same time improving your health. Since it is strongly recommended to consume more protein and fiber in order to attain weight loss (and whole grains are rich in fiber and protein), eating more whole grains makes complete sense.

Yes, everything is normal. It means that the baby's head is down, fetal heart sounds are present and fetal movements are present. Nobody can tell you at 28 weeks whether you will have normal delivery or c-section. So just chill!

Hi, I appreciate you seeking help. Well, I would advise the following for relief. Simultaneously, however, you must ensure to visit your OB/ GYN too for a clinical examination of your condition. Sore/ injured nipples apart, your breast lump needs to be diagnosed appropriately as well, and treatment recommended apropos. (a) You can apply calendula cream to the nipples after feed and post cleaning them with clean, moist and hot cloth. Ensure to clean your nipples before your next feed. (b) Apply a cool compress to your nipples before you feed. It can help relieve the soreness, if any. Keep changing sides while the child sucks, feeding on the side that is less painful. (c) Avoid wearing tight fitting bra. Make sure, you expose your breasts to fresh air daily. Exposure to sunlight for about a minute daily can help too. (d) Should the pain be unbearable, you may apply an alternating heat and cold treatment for couple of minutes that may alleviate pain. (e) Simultaneously, keep your diet and lifestyle streamlined, you can take tomato soup to which fresh herbs like garlic, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, coriander leaves and oregano has been added, once daily. Especially, vegetables & fruits rich in carotenoids, vitamin C & vitamin B12 are known to help in this condition. (f) Try avoiding tea, coffee, carbonated soft drinks, dairy products including chocolates, alcohol, greasy, sugary and other high calorie food stuff including fast foods etc all. (g) Green tea is an exception though. Stay well hydrated and have at least 8 - 10 glasses of clear fluids through out the day. (h) Homeopathy 'Phytolacca Decandra' mother tincture of which when diluted (1 part: 4 parts water) and applied topically, is known to help in cases of infection, suppuration, swelling of breasts and cracked nipples. Hope this helps. Do take care and all the very best.

For weight gain proper nutrition is a must. 1) you can start including more milk, cow ghee, fruits & vegetables in your diet. 2) stop eating junk & processed food. 3) make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk with a tsp of ghee. 4) eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk over night. 5) boost up your apettite by working out daily for atleast 30 mins. 6) massaging whole body with vata balancing herbal oil (ksheerabala oil) is very beneficial 7) reducing stress level, sleeping comfortably for long hours and afternoon naps are very essential to increase body mass.

Lybrate-user, firstly why you want to go for blood test for pregnancy. Urine kits are very sensitive and can detect early pregnancy as soon as on the first day of missed periods. Just make sure you do the test on the first morning sample.

C-Section Stitches - Tips To Deal With It!

C-Section Stitches - Tips To Deal With It!

Caesarean section or C-section is fairly common today and most mothers do not realize that once their incision has healed completely, the scar tissue problems can still occur. Unfortunately, there are no instructions for how to heal and care for C-section scars after they go home. The general post-operative instructions from hospital include a list of activities to avoid like lifting heavy articles and driving.

Caesarean scars can cause pain well after they've healed. This happen at the site of incision, but in other areas as well. It's important to remember that the scar you see on a mother's lower abdomen is just one spot that scar tissue has formed. There are also internal scars which can spread throughout the body over a time period. This scar tissue can cause lingering pain and dysfunction well after labour and delivery.

When our body tissue gets damaged, scar tissue forms. After a C-section, scar tissue forms along the abdomen and uterus as part of the natural healing process. Caesarean scars can be painful and mothers feel pain or tightness in their scars when they are reaching, leaning, lifting or standing up straight. The scar can cause muscle, connective tissue, and nerve damage in areas adjacent to scarred area. Over time this can lead to pelvic pain, bowel problems like constipation and irritable bowel syndrome and painful sex.

C-section scars are typically located in an area where they can entrap nerves. This can cause pain and also create an urgency or frequency to urinate. The best thing for a new mother is rest and recovery and doing too much, too soon, after a caesarean is a health risk. It is important that to keep incision clean, eat well and avoid lifting heavy articles to support healing. It is recommended that mothers have lymphatic and myofascial massage two days prior to surgery and as soon as possible post-surgery. Lymphatic massage is a light massage assisting in drainage and allows the collagen to align with the incision.

At three months post-caesarean mothers can begin scar tissue release therapy that involves massaging of the scar tissue so it becomes softer and more flexible like the surrounding skin and internal tissues. It needs to be done with three dimensional focus, slowly and gently separating the adhered tissues in all directions. The scar tissue release therapy painful with a burning sensation for some mothers, while some only feel mild discomfort or no pain at all.

Regardless of the age of the scar, one could get benefits from scar tissue release therapy from injuries to burns to surgical scars. Surface and internal scarring from surgeries could be contributing to many of the issues. Sometimes scarring is just a piece of the puzzle of your pain and so a pelvic floor physiotherapy in addition to scar tissue release therapy is recommended. The scar tissue release therapy reduces the appearance of C-section scars. It softens tissues and increases circulation, which all lead to a lightening in colour of the C-Section scar. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

Infertility is not a disease, but a derangement- a condition where the couple is unable to conceive. The patient may have tried the help of ART=Assisted Reproductive Treatment, starting from simple medication to expensive and invasive procedures, IVF, ICSI, PGD etc. These can lead to anything from derangement in the normal physiology, to gross irreversible pathology, leading to iatrogenic complications. Numerous infertility cases have been treated successfully with homeopathic medicine and they have been reported on homeopathic medical journals. All these cases show how homeopathic treatment restored overall health and helped women, who were previously infertile conceive and have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Homeopathic remedies can help infertile couples achieve pregnancy even if there are physical conditions that can prevent the implantation of the embryo contributing to infertility or miscarriages . You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance and permanent cure without any side effects

My wife is pregnant from 14 days and she suffered from thyroid and she take thyroid medicine. Is it safe to take thyroid medicine in pregnancy.

My wife is pregnant from 14 days and she suffered from thyroid and she take thyroid medicine. Is it safe to take thyr...
Yes, it's safe. In fact, it's unsafe not to take thyroid medication during pregnancy if you need it. Whether you have hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid) or the much less common hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid), you'll probably need to take medication and be closely monitored. The most common reason expecting moms take thyroid medicine is to treat hypothyroidism – when your thyroid gland doesn't produce enough thyroid hormone. You have to take medicine and maintain it normal. During pregnancy, the thyroid gland needs to produce about 40 percent more thyroid hormone for both you and your developing baby. Women who don't receive enough thyroid hormone during pregnancy are at greater risk of complications, Hypothyroidism, an underactive thyroid, increases the risk of pregnancy complications, such as miscarriage, still birth, infertility, maternal anemia, pre-eclampsia, placental abruption, postpartum hemorrhage, premature delivery, low birth weight and deficits in intellectual development in infants. So its mandate to take medication and maintain it normal. My advice is to continue medicine and consult doctor regularly for normal pregnancy.
