Hello lybrate user- difficulty in breathing associated with weight loss may be due to kafaj grahani disease in ayurveda. Due to indegestion the improper kafa (sticky material) get accumulated in the lungs and cause breathing problems. This kafa while circulating in body some times also causes obstruction in minute body channels which results in weight loss. Try these ayurvedic tips- a) avoid excess intake of water or other liquid items. B) avoid sleeping in day. C) avoid over eating, green leafy vegetables, fast foods, and non veg diet. D) wake up early and practise anulom vilom, kapalbhati pranyam. E) use kankasava 2 tsp twice a day with water after meals.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

If you are trying to gain some kg, eat some lean red meat. Steak contains a lot of protein and iron. Foods like ground beef, pork chops can also be eaten.

To gain weight, eat food with extremely high caloric value. Try to increase your food intake without consuming too much fat and sugar. Regular meals, especially breakfast are important if you find it difficult to gain weight. Eat late - having snacks at bedtime may help to gain weight. Relax after having meal. Eat frequently- eat five or more meals a day. Do regular exercise. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day. Take pranacharya krishata nashak capsule twice a day. Drink milk three times a day.

Hi lybrate-userif your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Hi Lybrate User, As per your measurements your BMI is 31.2 which is in 'Obese' Category. It means you could reduce about 15 kgs which is already causing problems for you like BP, Cholesterol etc. 1. Olive oil is mainly used for salad dressing etc because of its low smoke point. 2. Olive oil is not suitable for Indian Cooking at high temperatures. 3. It is better to use a variety of simple oils produced locally like Saffola, Groundnut, Mustard, Sunflower, Rice Bran oil. 4. Point to note that whatever oil you use, the max oil per day must not exceed 4 Teaspoons of oil. 5. Some bit of oils you must get from Almonds, which you can eat about 15 per day. 6. You also have to get your refined sugars/carbs under control. 7. Its better you visit a dietician and adopt a change in lifestyle and food habits. 8. Olive oil is not going to help you in this. 9.
