Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned, however, there is very little specific information like fasting & PP glucose, HbA1c%, present diet and whether he is able to do any exercise. I need to know all these details before a diet plan can be given. Usually a person with diabetes should avoid deep fried foods, sweets, bakery items, pastries, foods made from maida like bread etc. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables salads and fruits. Always use whole grain flour for chapati and roti. Avoid colas, sweetened drinks and packaged fried foods. Should also avoid alcohol and smoking. Thanks.

I have belly stomach fat please tell me how I burn it. please suggest my how can I lose my fat.

I have belly stomach fat please tell me how I burn it. please suggest my how can I lose my fat.
Belly fat increases due to minimal physical work and eating processed carb rich food. We keep on eating certain foods thinking they are not unhealthy. But they are actually unhealthy, like - white sugar, refined flour (maida) & oil. When we cook something or even eat a biscuit, it contains either or all three of these hidden unhealthy foods. Eating 1 biscuit gives calories more than you can burn in a 30 mins walk. But we do not think much before eating these foods. Most of our packed and home made snack foods are culprit for increase in belly fat. Replace these with natural foods like fruits, salad and nuts.

Mr. Lybrate-user, it is good that he wants to visit kashmir. Walking long distance is actually god for health. If his blood sugar levels are in control, then there is no worry. He should carry is rgular medication in adequate quantity. Take care of proper food intake and not missing his anti diabetes medication. For taking care of pain, he should carry any pain killer which he is comfortable with. But it should be used very sparingly. I do not see there is any reason to worry at all.
