Hello- In a normal pregnancy, your ovary releases an egg into your Fallopian tube. If the egg meets with a sperm, the fertilized egg moves into your uterus to attach to its lining and continues to grow for the next 9 months. But in up to 1 of every 50 pregnancies, the fertilized egg stays in your Fallopian tube. In that case, it's called an Ectopic pregnancy or a tubal pregnancy. It happens due to weak musculature of uterus and tubes unable to produce a movement to push forward the ovum after fertilization. Improper treatment has lead to the repetition of the condition in your case. I recommend you to start ayurvedic treatment. Medicines improve the musculature potential and it aids the zygote to implant at correct part of the uterus. Normal uncomplicated pregnancy is possible after the treatment.

I am the 34 years old female, underwent hysterectomy operation 9 years ago. Since 2 years, I am suffering from vaginal itching occasionally for every 2 months, later it is automatically cured. I also used candid vaginal gel on the advice of doctor and it was temporarily relieved. please suggest medicine.

MBBS, DGO, FGO
Gynaecologist, Jalandhar
If it is not getting relieved by candid gel, most likely it is due hormone oestrogen deficiency because you it’s already 9 years since you got hysterectomy done. I think local application of some oestrogen cream like evalon cream will help you

Hi Dr, I am Brinda, 30yrs, F. Married since 7years. PCOD (on glycomet 850 and Normoz. Gone through 6 Follicular study no results. I conceived on own before 4years but it was miscarriage on 6th week (Only sac was seen could not see baby till 6th week scan). Now my Dr. Suggested for Advanced Diagnostic Hystereolaproscopy to find any blocks in my tubes and other fertile aspects. I would like to know if I surely have to undergo this laparoscopy or as an alternate could I go for IUI or IVF to conceive skipping this laparoscopy. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Dr, I am Brinda, 30yrs, F. Married since 7years. PCOD (on glycomet 850 and Normoz. Gone through 6 Follicular study...
Its been 4 years since your last pregnancy which unfortunately had ended in a miscarriage. The medicines given to you must have resulted in ovulation, and the doctors must have adviced you to have sexual relations in the ovulatory period. But if this has not resulted in a pregnancy over 6 cycles, it means there is a need to evaluate your fallopian tube patency. Patency of the fallopian tubes is done by many methods: 1. Hsg - hysterosalpingography, which is an x ray taken when a dye is injected in your uterus 2. Sonosalpingography, where saline introduced in uterine cavity is seen on sonography to assess fallopian tubal patency 3. Hysterolaparoscopy. Here hysteroscopy will evaluate uterus and its lining, and laparoscopy will be used to assess the peritoneum, ovaries, fallopian tubal patency etc tubal patency will need to be established before taking up iui. So it is prudent to go for any of the tests mentioned above for tubal patency. If you want to go for ivf, tubal status need not be checked because in ivf we bypass the function of the tube i. E intratubal fertilisation (as this is made to happen -" invitro")

You can eat anything. Avoid spicy food becoz you will be probably put on iron supplement. Can cause a bit of abd discomfort.

Last month I was period for 28 days but this month today is 29th day of my period but still am not getting period.
Hello. & days plus or minus in normal cycle is considered normal only. Still if it gets above then 7 days then you must rule out pregnancy test if any such history of exposure is there, otherwise hb % and blood for fsh, lh and prolactine level may be required. So for further guidelines you can ask me through private questions if required.
