Hiii This md sahil from kolkata and I am suffering from knee pain from last 3 month so please suggest me any good solution for this.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Dear hello, is the pain spontaneous or caused by some unaccustomed activity. Any way. Do not squat i. E. Sit on the ground and use a commode in the toilet. Do hot fomentation and apply a local pain killer gel/balm and support the joints with crepe bandages 6" x 2 in each joint. Take a pain killer medicine for a week. You will settle. If not revert back after 3 days. Take care.

Hi back pain usually occurs due to prolonged sitting in a bad posture hence the pressure on the back increases and you get back pain as your muscle don't support any undue pressure so for this now you can start with a hot packs for ten minutes twice a day and also start strengthening your core muscles.

Hello, 1. You can apply volini gel 1% local application twice a day for 3-5 days 2. Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days I am giving to some common reasons for leg pain 1. Generalized weakness 2. May b your suffering from lumber spondylosis. U need to do some stretchings. Do not take heavy weight by bending. Use hot application on that area. Hi. Thank for the question. As per what you told it seems your might be suffering from plantar fasciitis, an inflammation of plantar fascia at the heel. This fascia help in supporting your bones in place while to stand and walk. Best way to treat this is to apply cold pack 15-20 min at the point of pain at least 2-3 time. Also physiotherapy can help, with ultrasound and exercise you can reduce the inflammation. There are corrective footwear and insoles which can help to correct the bone alignment and reduce the stress on the area affected thereby enhancing healing process.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

I had a surgery in 2013 where I had a fracture on my left Humerus. Surgeon fixed a plate during that surgery. Recently I took an x-ray and my surgeon said ok to remove the plate since the fracture has healed completely. Is it advisable to remove the plate or leave it there as it is to support the bone? Its been 3 years and 5 months. I feel ok now and I see that I regained strength to lift weights. Also let me know if I can lift weights - more than 20 kgs. I am able to lift 7 to 10 kgs at the moment.

If you have pain on fracture site or plate is giving you pain, then only plate removal is necessary, if its not distubing your day to day routine work, then its not compulsory to remove plate, further you can lift weight up to 20 kg, only when # is totally healed, lift wt if you do not get pain at # site while lifting weight.
