I have too much pain in my back muscles and all very frustrated of cramps. Player help. I want to get rid of these.
Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. I am 37yrs old, having 2childtens with c-section. 1st born on 14-2-2012, and 2nd was born on 7-6-2013. Yesterday 1st july I was having sever low back pain. I was unable to stand on my feets. Had taken inj. Diclofenac75mg 2amp since yesterday. Still having pain but not like yesterday its 30% cure. Why I have this pain? please need feed back.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi lybrate-user. I advise you to quit smoking at the earliest as it is seriously bad for your overall health. There is no answer to why everyone smokes inspite of it being injurious and rather than focussing on others, you should care for yourself. Smoking precipitates not only back pain but affects the whole body. Back pain is a broad condition and can be due to plenty of factors like occupational and postural stressors, muscle weakness and imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, certain bone related diseases, lack of exercises and/or due to combination of these factors. I opine you to get yourself checked by an orthopedic doctor or physiotherapist to first detect the cause of back pain and then take appropriate measures to curb the same. Also note that proper rest, good nutrition and positive mental attitude generally has a positive effect on all sorts of back pain.

After so many years, I played badminton. I played continuous 3 days. But after that when we continue playing. A pain occur on joints of both the leg. When I stop playing after 1 hour .pain s vanish. Again next day when I play again same problem.

Dear lybrate user, you were exposed to activity suddenly after many years. This puts stress on joints and bones. knee joint specifically bears weight of whole body. weight bearing exercises should be increased gradually. Do not miss warm up before exercise and stretching before and after exercise . Apply warm sesame oil to all your joints once in a day as a primary treatment.

Hello, kindly go for cervical x ray ap and lateral and review with reports and follow following advises 1. Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered trainer) 3. You can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4. Maintain proper posture of body while watching tv/ studying see a physician for further management.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises.
