Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

You eat a lot but did you digest it. The basic problem in weight gain is indigestion and not proper absorption of food. Ayurvedic medicine checks indigestion, increase absorption hence resulting in weight gain.

I will suggest you to do suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity for a minimum of six months and Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

Dear , appropriate weight usually depends on your height rather than your age. In order to suggest you one needs to know your height, and bmi also. Weight Gain Diet Plan

Early Morning

1 glass milk with banana or Chiku shake or Mango shake etc.
Tea or coffee with 2 Normal biscuits or 1 Khakra or 2 toast

Breakfast

2 Vegetable stuffed paratha, with curd
2 Masala Dosa eith sambhar and Coconut chutney
2 moong dal chilla with chatney
2 paneer stuffing parathe with curd
2 Omelets
4 Toasted butter bread with any stuffing Poha or upma 1 bowl with any Milk shake. 3-4 Saboodana vada or Khichidi 1 plate with curd 1 plate Fried Rice with Salad or Curd 1 bowl Lunch 2 chapati with or without ghee, 1 bowl vegetable ( any) , 1 bowl dal and 1 Bowl rice 1 Lassi with 1 bowl Briyani and salad 1 bowl Sprouts with salad and 1 glass nimboo pani Any fruits - 1 or 2 Bowls with any evening snacks. Dalia with vegetable - 1plate and salad 1 bowl or curd 1 bowl. Evening Fruits 2 bowls ( Any fruit) Ground nut Chikki - 1 pcs , Dry fruits - 4 pcs , Roasted Dry fruits - 5 pcs Tea or Coffee - 1 spoon sugar with 2 cookies or 2toast Dinner- 2 chapati with or without ghee, 1 bowl vegetable ( any) , 1 bowl dal and 1 Bowl rice Kichidi ( any type ) -1 plate 1 glass milk with one spoon sugar Dalia with vegetables - 1 Plate Notes - Per day 2 spoon oil or ghee and 2 spoon of sugar is used Morning to Night. there is lots of options, choose any one option everyday.

Sir/ mam, myself 29 years old male, quiet fit n healthy though I drink (twice in a week with room temperature water) n smoke (twice in a day. Since last 3-4 months I have got continuous cold (and few times cough too) whch ws nt earlier. S I use to catch cold or fewer n cough bt tht ws lke a normal thng whch evry1 get. Bt this time though cough is nt regular bt cold seems to have dried little n my voice sounds odd while I talk due to that constant cold. I would b glad is you cud suggest some home made measures or ayurvedic way to come back to normalcy n lke I ws before. Thnx in advance.

Hello lybrate-user, please try to apply steam to face. Try drinking a decotion made by tulasi leaves, dried ginger, dried pepper. In a glass of water put all the above and boil it, till it reduce to half glass. And drink that hot hot. Can prepare and have it many times as you want. Thank you.

Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Eat more no. Of chapatis, more rice with butter or ghee. Eat more fresh dark green leafy vegetables, more fresh fruits and also take fruit juices. Take creamed milk and also take milk products like cheese, khoa, etc. If you eat non-veg then eat 2 to 3 pcs. Of egg or fish thrice a week. Also you must take exercises daily as it helps in better absorption of food and also increases your satiety.

Tips for weight gain 1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.

If it isn't painful and doesn't restrict range of motion, use a crepe bandage for compression. Please don't tie so tight as to leave a mark. Use warm packs with omnigel. Avoid kneeling or squatting, and move ankle/toes frequently. If it doesn't subside, or if it's painful and/or restricts movement, best to consult an orthopedic surgeon.

Hi lybrate-user starting eating more chapatis and rice with butter or ghee. Take creamed milk upto 500 ml daily and also eat milk products like cheese, khoa, etc. Also take dry fruits daily like 4 to 6 almonds or cashew nuts or some raisins. Eat fresh and high calorie fruits like apple, banana, etc. And vegetables like spinach, etc. You can also take fruit juices. If you eat non-veg then eat 2 or 3 pcs, of chicken or red meat daily. Take salad with your every main meal. Also do exercises daily as it increases your satiety.

Hello, During night, oily food, junk food, sweets, chocolates, heavy-to-digest food, non vegetarian food, cold or frozen food, ice creams, large quantity of food, curd, etc should be avoided or taken in very little quantities. Diet plan for night – healthy low carb diet, which is easy to digest, are preferred during night. Curd at night is to be replaced with butter milk. Chapatis are better than rice. The quantity of food should be limited.The rule of thumb is – the food that you take should make your stomach feel light. Generally during sleep, we require less energy. so, if we eat in large quantities at night, most of the energy produced out of the food is stored in the body, causing fat deposition and weight gain.

Ayurveda believes in digestion not into giving heavy food for weight gain. According to ayurveda, food which are easy to digest but nutrient can gain weight. But I need detait history for perfact solution. Like your appetite? bowel habits sleeping habits kind of your work or job life style diet etc. But till you can do following: take daal rice more. Use cow ghee n milk. Avoid over eating start massage with til oil in morning, after that, do exercise whatever you want then bath focus in yourself avoid stress anger fear take ajvayan 1 tsp after meal. Start chyavanprash in morning. These are also helps in height increase. After 20, process of increasing height becomes slow. However healthy diets will help you. Do exercise & yoga. Esp. Tadashana, suryanamaskar, chakrasahana.

How to prevent weight loss and how do I gain weight?
I am a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in managing your weight. You need to provide me your daily food intake details. There are many lifestyle and dietary guidelines that can be followed: take high protein prescribed diet, have paneer, eggs and potatoe daily. Incorporate dry fruits in your diet on a daily basis. Eat a balanced diet as prescribed by a registered dietitian, I being a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problem. I will also prescribe medicines that will speed up the time to achieve your weight management goals. Gradual weight management is always advisable. An increase in 500 kcal per day can result in increasing the body weight by 0.5 kgs per week. Objective should be to restore a desirable weight/ ideal body weight according to one's age, gender and height. To rebuild body tissues, to maintain a good nutritional status and to maintain ideal body weight. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight management, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. You must drink coconut water once daily for one month. Also take protein. Apply almond oil and oliv oil mixed in equal qty. And do massage with your fingure tips daily on the scalp for first week and then thrice a week after that twice a week.
